Call is to my cell phone with no message left.  When I try to call back, "call can't be completed as diaed."

says they are from Microsoft computer department about my virus. RIGHT!!!

905-555-0173 .... 650-278-4402 ...... 336-555-0121 ..... 510-555-0137 are all calling. Caller ID shows they are all Dir Assist with different states 2 digit ID

Got a call from this number.A man with a Indian accent was telling me my computer had a virus and some malware on it and told me that was bad and did I know that was bad.When I told him we have not had internet service at this number for over 4 months and that my computer was lost in the fire he immediately hung up.

Man with Indian or Pakistan accent but named "John" told me he was with Microsoft and had detected a virus on our computer.  I told him he was obviously calling from a call center that was not America, and I doubted his name was John.  I implied he was maybe from India or Pakistan, he got mad and said he was with Al Qaeda and hung up.  I tried calling that number and got that my call could not be completed as dialed.

Got a call from 9055550173 Indian accent (bad) said she was with Microsoft virus department and told me to start my computer. When questioned piece of s--t on the other end of phone called me a moth-------r and hung up. The crooks are getting more desperate...

  got a call from 1-905-555-0173 ,did not get to answer and when called back was told the number was not in service.

John(?) called, stated he was with Microsoft and that they had detected a virus on my computer.
I questioned him about which computer and he stated, "all of them"

I questioned if they were spying on me and he stated, "No"

I asked him if he knew I was a Field Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Fraud Division.... and he asked, "Who"

I did said, "FBI"

He hung up... however he does call back from time to time and I answer, "FBI - Fraud division"

He hangs up each time... oh, and by the way his voice seems to always change!

OK, I have but one question.   IF you did not recognize the number then WHY did you answer it ?   For over a year now I have NOT answered any number that I do not recognize.   By doing this I have cut down the number of calls I receive from them by 90% or more.  When you DO answer their calls all you are doing is confirming for the scumbags on the other end that your number is a viable, working number and they WILL continue to call and harass you.  Plus, they will also sell your number to other scumbags who will in turn call you.   Question to ponder:   IF no one answers their calls, then would they eventually have to give up and go out of business ?

No message left......I know no one in Ontario, Canada

Man with heavy India accent trying to tell me something is wrong with my computer.  He was extremely difficult to understand and when I said I was not in front of my computer he hung up.  tried to call number back but recording said number was disconnected or no longer in service.
