Received a check for $97,000 and called the number.  The check was from The Dealers Food Products Co. They said someone will call me back.  I'm going to call and file a report tomorrow.

I also recieved a check, 21,280.00 with a note asking for notification of reciept of payment. I called the phone number 905-598-3557 and asked the call-taker what the payment is for? he answerd by asking the ammount the check was for, i told him the ammount, and he then stated to me my name and mailing address. it was printed on the check also.
CitiBank check, from BROWNRUDNICK Boston Mass. issued by AWF HOLDINGS. mailed from canada. the guy said just deposit the check in my account and it would clear in two days, he didnt ask for anything return. i told him that i will go to CitiBank with the check, and he said just deposit it in my account! yea right! i got a bit more info. from him and ended the call.
guess i will know soon enough?

received a check in the mail, supposedly drawn on a Bank of America account, with a note stating to call this number or email awfholdings@yahoo.ca to notify that payment had been received.   But for what? I have not sold anything recently, and certainly not for $4920.  The letter stated that it was for our transaction?????  

The check states it is from the  APA talent and literary Agency.  The phone number is 905-598-3557.  I will call Bank of America tomorrow, but I bet it is a bogus account!  I certainly am NOT depositing it into my checking account!!!!
