of cource this is a scam, because I am not lucky enough to win $95,000.00

I never recieved a call, only a letter saying I won some (LOTTERY!)

I received a letter and a check in the mail from Pinnacle Incorporation stating the same. They want me to contact them and arrange for a check of $3,150.25 to be activated after I paid a tax of $2,850.00. Luckily I also had second thoughts about contacting them and came accross this posting when I Googled their phone number. Does anyone know where to report scams like these?

Report the scam and turn over all paper work and checks received to the US Secret Service:

This is a scam, the check they send you is fake. They want you to deposit it, which can take a few weeks to bounce, and wire them back some of the money right away. Check bounces, your out the wired funds + bounced check fees and in the worst case you can be charged with passing counterfeit checks (a felony)

I recived a letter and check on August 27 I took it to my bank to see if it was real
It was not. Please donot take this letter seriously it is a scam

I also received this exact same letter and I Thank God that I am not money hungry to believe this. First of all I know that I never played any lottery because I don't believe in them, second when you read the letter the word lucky sent up the second red flag, (there is only blessing or blessed, there is no luck or lucky), third there is no signature on the letter, the amounts on the letter don't add up and the so call letter head, finally look at the names they are all made up, no one is going to put their real name on this letter, it can be traced back to them. It seems like everyone was sent the same letter and the only thing was changed was the person it was sent to. REMEMBER ALWAYS FOLLOW YOUR FIRST MIND OR INSTINCT, THAT IS USUALLY THE CORRECT ONE. I came on line to try to fine out how to report this if possible and I saw this. By the way I held the cashier check up to the light and yes you guest it, there is no watermarks, LETS CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR THOSE WHO ACTUALLY FALL FOR THIS KIND OF SCAM.   Many GOD bless you all

If you called the number in the letter 905-598-3992 , you will hear his voice . The police will find out & bring him to court .

The new name on the letter is now PAUL GALLOY same phone number.  1-905-598-3992.  Promotions Manager is listed as MARYLOU SHANNON.  Company name does not use proper English either.  TRIDELL INCORPORATION???  Companies are either Corporation or Incorporated.  NOT Incorporation.  No signature on mine either. Let's stop these jerks!!!!

My Uncle got a letter from Tridell Inc, Kitchener, On.  "Cashier's check" seemingly valid on front with real signature, but back does not seem real -- Paul Galloy, call 1-905-598-3992, and Brenda Hawkins as promotions mng.  check for $3150.75, but need to pay $2850 in taxes.  Is there any law enforcement trying to stop this sort of fraud?  If it was happening in Sept 2011, why isn't it shut down.  This is forgery and fraud.  Similar letter, different number 1-416-876-3802 Interstate financial funds, Paul Miller

received the letter and check on july 2,called paul malloy on july 5,went to bank on july 6 and was informed it was a scam.on july 7 received a call which didnt answer and they left a voicemail asking me why i havent tried to collect my winnings.that call came from 416-682-7000.they also stated they were from tridell incorporatrion.

Received a check and letter in the mail stating I had won $95,000.00, The check was for 3,150.75. They said the taxes were $2,850.00. The man's name was Paul Galloy. Called him and he said to deposit the check and call him in two days, for further instructions. The phone number was 905 598-3992. This is the second time in a month I have been scammed with a check. I turned it over to the U.S. Postal Service,
fraud division. Even though it was from Canada.

They're  still doing the letter part of this scam 03-26-2013.

It's going  to the Post Office. This is mail fraud, plain and simple.
 Secret Service actually is the enforcement arm. Last time this happened, when I called to report it, the S.S. told me they were too busy to follow up on these types of scams as the guy that collects the money from the bank is just hired by someone to cash the check and knows NOTHING about the scam.
 In our case, it was impossible to believe a USPS money order, only good in the USA was cashed in Canada at a bank where it was really no good without the cooperation of the bank cashier.

I received a letter yesterday stating I won a Lottery. Winnings of $95,000. Sent a check with the letter for $2950.00 for taxes. Call 905-598-2870 (different number, same scam) So being stupid, I called the number and not answer so I left my number to have them call me back. They did the next day at 7:00 am. That pissed me off so I had a attitude with the man who had an accent( I think India accent) and he asked me for the claim # and then told me to go to the bank, deposit the check and then call him back on Wednesday.( today being Monday). But when he called me back, it was't from the 905-598-2870 number. It was 416-682-7000. Funny, huh! So I called the bank where the cashier's check was from and they told me it was a scam and the way to tell is, first, their cashier checks are light  green, second, they spell CASHIER CHECK without the apostrophe and many more things. She told me to shed the letter and check.
