This is a phone number apparently from century securities on a letter stating that someone has won some money. I am checking for a possible scam.

I received a letter and a check also from this company. It does look legit. Waiting for the outcome of your search.

I also received a letter from Glenn Seifert Securrities Inc. Stating that i had won the sum of 250,000.00 with a check for 3,980.00.That this check was the sole purpose for the payment of applicable government taxes on my big winnings.Said that all the participants were selected through a random computer ballot system drawn from over 5o,ooo names.

NO LEGITIMATE LOTTERY OR SWEEPSTAKES WILL SEND YOU A CHECK - JUST TO HAVE YOU SEND THE MONEY BACK TO PAY TAXES WITH!

Taxes are taken from your winnings first!  

The point is to get you to deposit the check and wire them the funds - before the check bounces - as they know the banks will release the funds before it officially bounces.
YOU END UP OWING THE BANK THAT MONEY AND COULD END UP IN JAIL FOR PASSING BAD CHECKS!

I received a check for 2,995.00 from a draw of 50.000 names  agent Lewis McGregor.  i call the number 905-598-4479. I got a message that this number was not assign.
