I got a letter somewhat like yours, only my winnings were $2,297,671.00 cash & prizes!!!!!!  Like they say if it sounds too good too be true, you know it,s a BIG BIG SCAM, WON,T GET ME!!!!!!>

I also received a letter in the mail today stating I was to win 2,678,394.00. All I needed to do was send a check for 20.00. Checked it all out on line and found this blog. Yes just as I figured a SCAM! I hope these people get caught and thrown in jail!

I got the same letter several times and was beginning to think that maybe it wasn't a scam. I called my local police department and they told me if anyone ever asks for money to send you money. It is a scam and to never fall for it. If it was real the only concern would be taxes and that would be after you received the money.

I got the same letter for winnings of 2,678,394.00 . They want me to send $20 to get it that is funny if you are a winner you don't send money you get money.

Hi Sherri i'm Carol just got that same exact letter you got the 20.00 and the lumpsum all the same just glad i reseached it am a vitime of scames but i had to learn the hard way

I am a "senior, single" lady and I thought that I was smart enough not to believe a scam letter but I was  so excited about winning the $2 million! I planned to help my daughters send my granddaughters to college, a new car for me and a larger, newer place to live. I finally got wise and visited the internet and found out all the letters I received asking for $20. were bogus. I was disappointed that there was no money coming and more disappointed that I had been so stupid. I hope these letters will help warn others. JG

I received the same letter, from the same address, with the same amount.However they think that they are getting smart. They did not send a telephone number. Who communicates without a tel. Number? I am concerned about those folkes who does not have a ready access to the Internet to research these evil people.

i recieved a letter from uru and nwp asking for 20.00 and i was tempted now i'm glad i researched thanks.

woow!! they have been scamming my 81yr old mother out of money for the  past year.  my family and i are trying to get to the bottom of who these people are - glad i googled this and read your posts.  my mother had universal research in merrick, mailign is a po box merrick, then another po box in rockville, center then another U.A.P in deer park - she had 20.00 checks going to several different mail locations, including Canada and st louis and even someone in the Netherlands!!! i am outraged....at the end of the day after we reviewed her checkbook. totalled $9,000 of her retirement money was sent to the rats!!! if anyone has more information on how to track down these thiefs, please post  comment...much appreciated

THE MONEY THAT IS SENT CAN BE TRACED IF MONEY ORDERS WERE PURCHASED THRU THE USPS OR WESTERN UNION THRU A TRACK SYSTEM. WHO CHASHES THE FUNDS WOULD BE AN ENTIRELY NEW PROJECT SO DON'T WAS THE TIME AND ENERGY, JUST DON'T SEND ANYTHING TO THE ROUND TABLE.

I was lucky to check this letter out before sending my $20 to this scammers.I'm turning this scam letter to the US postmaster and have them check this out.

I also received a scam letter from Universal Research Unlimited  PMB 405, 2005 Merick Rd Merrick,NY requested 20.00 to get my 2,678,394.00 here in MT

Lately I'm receiving a lot mails from Universal REsearch Ulimited. PMB 405, 2005 Merrick Rd. Merrick N Y 11566 and some others very similars telling me that I'm candidate eligible to get more than two millions that I have to send a check for $ 20.00 but is very exaggerate the amoun of letters that I'm receiving from them and others..... the worst thing there is no phone number that i can call to find out to get information. My thinking is how can they got my name & address.... how can "suppossedly"can I get a prize if I never play with them some sweepstakes???

Imagine getting $ 20.00 for each person that they send this letter.. how much they will get it?? how can they stop to steal the money from receiver of this letter...??  Is there some organization that can act of behalf of the US citizen????
Do it something against them to stop this malpractice.

i recieved the same scam letter and it looked genuine.  it even was paid as first class postage. keep up the good work.  
i also recieved another scam from p.o. box levittown, ny 11756.  it looked pretty good too, but my experiance tells me it is also a scam.  It was signed by J. reitman / prize data release ofc.

Hi, Robin i received letters also from  URU saying that i had won $ 2,670,900 and 00/100 Dollars and many others all different amount of money. i also receive a letter from  Capital Reporting Partners saying i won $ 2,034,887.00. so i got on line to search out these companies i knew something was wrong because the amount also changed and the ID#. YES IT IS A SCAM. THEY ALL WANTED $20.00 dollars sent to them.

this is a SCAM......when you win something yiu are not asked to send money to receive your winning...and noway ask to send cash....beware this is a scam,,,,,,
