Not a call but a letter with $3,800 check claiming that we had won $38,000.  Letter is from Shoppers Lotto Consumers Reward Program and says that it is the final notification.  It also goes into detail about how the lucky numbers 1 8 11 19 28 and 37 where drawn which made us the winners. When you call the said number the women Tiffany Hofer or Andy Jensen tell you that the $3,800 is to pay the taxes on the $38,000.  She will also tell you to go to the nearest Wal-Mart use the Red form (yes I called them) and send $3,500 to Wanda C. Sotto in Atlanta Ga.  The check that is sent with the letter is from Compass Bank in Texas.  Check number 287309.  Sounds great looks offical but is a scam.  Hopefully nobody falls for it.

Just a note to say they use different banks, different contact names and different phone numbers, but it is the same game, being played by the same people (I assume). They tell you the money is for taxes on the prize of insurance. Don't fall for it.
