Promises $38,000 winnings and sent check for $3,800, drawn on a Johnson Bank from Racine WI, to cover intial tax payments on winnings. The bank exists. It looks like MBT Financial Services, PO Box 9004, Buffalo, NY, 14201, is the contact for this phishing program. They want me to deposit the check into my account and then contact their agents for subsequent instructions and information. HAH, Fat Chance.

I recieved the same exact letter and check yesterday. There are a few other similar posts regarding this lotto scam. What are they getting out of this anyway?

i recieved the same letter today and when i checked with my bank they looked at the check and said it was a fraudulant check and advised me not to cash it .
