Just received a call - i answered, there was nobody there. I could hear what sounded like a tv show on in the background, so i thought it was someone pranking me...I asked hello 3 times and when nobody answered I hung up - now I see from these posts that it was a freaking telemarketer ! arrrrgggg!

i too just received a call; i said hello once; nobody speaks; caller silent,,,i hung up...but after 30-40 seconds i decided to make a call and realized caller still on line; not yet disconnected; then i tried after 2-3minutes and the line was free..so i immediately did a STAR 69 and it said the last number that called me was 9056675602...when i   tried to call the number back..its continuously busy

I am reporting this number as i answered and they would not speak, only open line. When i call back the call does not go through.

Had good fun with these foreigners about two months back.

Let them do their pitch about duct cleaning, told them I wanted to book an appointment, but only if they cleaned my turkeys and geese as well.  I wouldn't take no for an answer and persisted that if they clean "ducks" they should be able to clean any other similar type of bird for the same price.

Went on for 20 minutes arguing with the idiot until he gave up and hung up.  Strangely, they never called me again!

I just got a phone call from these people saying that they are from bell canada and trying to give me a cheaper rate if I go with them.  Really, it is irritating when if it was Bell canada and I am with bell, wouldnt Bell know I am currently with them.  Scammers.  They were trying to get my personal information.  I asked the man, if he is  the same gentleman that is doing the duct cleaning services because the number is the same and he said no and hung up.  REALLY!!!?!  This is so frustrating!!!  They call me everyday and they do something different everyday but from the same number.  Pretty sure he is the guy that calls me about solar energy as well...

Called, I told this Indian man on the phone that the home owners were not there, he said "are you alone? Can I come?" When I answered no, he continued to say "why not?" I hung up then. With so many complaints, why haven't they got rid of these idiots.

I rec'v 5 to 10 calls a week from these guy's despite repeatedly asking them not to call back and to remove me from their list.  Each time I tell them to add me to the do not call list the East Indian accented man becomes rude, hangs up and often calls back the next day.  2 calls ago they called me immed. after hanging up on me during one of their episodes.  I am assuming by mistake as it was the exact same guy who just hung up on me and started off the exact same way as if he was calling someone new.  When I told him that I just spoke to you 20 seconds ago, told you to stop calling and you hung up on me..., he denied that they had never called me ever before and said "No, you are lier...".  When I recited the 2 exact times and numbers from my call-display he hung up on me for the second time that day.   New policy....  I promise to the world that I will never ever a.) buy from a telephone sales person (regardless of price as I will always conclude it to be a scam) or b.) give business to any company that outsources to non-canadian call centers (period).

I decided to waste their time and let them come by...I put my ornamental "ducks" out..

They called and my sister answered. He asked if anyone over 40 can answer the phone. My sister said he's busy right now because the only guy over 40 in my house is my dad and the he asked if he's home.....

How do we get rid of these BS scammers?  Same guy, from the same number, claiming to offer Bell Canada services, then hangs up when asked where he got my number from...

They called for Air Duct Cleaning services. They also give a number (647) 496-0287 which can't be reached. Don't let them in to your home.

Guy called today ``Jason``, said he was from bell.  We spoke for 30 minutes about services they offered.  He then asked for my DOB, I gave him a phony.  He said another caller will call within 48 hours about installing my new dish.  I asked about an email confirmation, he told me the tech will confirm the price and install fee.  Called bell they don`t have me in their system, told to call back next day.  will follow up

These guys call twice a day everyday. .This time it's my turn. I tell them I don't have ducts only goats and chickens. Next time they will be told to come over then I'm going to change the address numbers when ever they drive by and video it.  I will also take the plate number then call cops for harassing me.

got it but did not answer, I realized it from the tone of the ringing. but wasted my time to check # on internet.

they have called my house 4 times now and each time its the same man with the voice u cant understand but a different company each time first it was the duct company, then it was some computer company asking about my computer at home, then it was a tax thing and just now he wouldnt even give a company name he just wanted the head of the house i said he couldnt so he said he would call back and even asked who i was and wanted my name so he could tell the owner he was talking to me im like hell no! and hang up like give me a break!

Just another low life telemarketer who is trying to sell product from his supermarket.  i would suggest that you quit your job and go back to where you belong and where you are from.  We do not need you here as you are willing to take low paying job just to annoy people life.  They need you more there than here and you can sell anything you want either on the street or on sidewalk.  Another suggestion is that you call your mom and sell all your supermarket products to her and if you want to call me again, please do so and my answering machine would love to talk to you and you can make any offer of your products and services to my great answering machine built just to answer any call from low life telemarketer like you.

I received this call a few times and I simple F* with them and ask then how they got into my air duct.  I usually get a reply of...."No.... we air duct cleaning".  I tell them to get out of my air duct right now.

They call every day at least three times a day.
I don't answer, they don't leave a message ..just sounds like a tv on in back ground.

After reading thru these I'm going to answer next time and waste as much time of theirs as possible!!!

I get a call every day (sometimes more than once) from this number-first on my house phone, then on my cell phone. If I pick up, there is either no one there or they are calling to give me cheap air duct cleaning. After I tell them that I rent my home, they tell me that I can pay them, then charge my landlord. It doesn't make sense, and they push and push until I hang up.
