calles and says nothing its northern credit

After answering their call, all I get is silence. I have no outstanding/late/old bills so have no clue why they would be calling my number in the first place.... I do know that I won't waste my time answering their call again!

I got a call from this number this morning and they hung up when I answered, so I called them back! They answer "credit check, this call will be recorded". They were looking for the former owner of my phone number which I have only had for 4 weeks.

he said his name was "al Cummond" would not tell me what it was about tho..

block that number!

They have called my # looking for someone who does not live here. There is no point in even picking up the phone. The man on the other end is screaming and irrational. He knows his practices are breaking the law. No amount of trying to tell him it is a wrong number will work. This is the lowest of the low in debt collection practices. Don't take their calls. No-one should be bullied or harassed. Block their numbers. If someone needs to collect a valid debt from you they can use the Post Office mail and put it in writing. If you can't put it in writing...you shouldn't say it in the first place.
