- CrystalCalled telling me he was from national college testing center and offering me additional testing guides and cds for sat/act and practice test. He said they put a hold on my credit card and when I return it the money goes back. I did it then something felt weird. Called them back and canceled order. They said it will take 7 business day to reverse charge. Called my sons high school and they said it was a scam. Called canceled my card and they are sending a new one. If I do get refund it will go to the new account. If not I am out 220.00. I was in a hurry not paying attention. Potential scam so be careful. They sound like Americans calling. Not overseas.

- Dawn replies to AGibI was called today
- MomExactly 3 days after I registered my son to take the SAT exam, this number called pretending to be the College Board and pretending to need my permission for him to receive the study guides that were ordered during the registration process. They wanted private identity information and credit card information. I don’t know if they hacked PayPal or the College Board to know that my son was registered to take the SATs and that extra study guides were in fact ordered during the registration. I confirmed with the College Board that they have absolutely nothing to do with this phone number. So not only are they spamming, but based upon hacked information because they knew about our SAT registration and they knew we ordered study guides when registering.

- H.S. DadHad the same call others did today, 2/5/21 - saying he's from the college testing center. He knew my child's name and street name. Seemed convincing - sending CDs seemed a bit out-dated but once he asked for the credit card, that set off a warning flag. Checked with my wife/daughter who confirmed nothing requested. As we worked through it on the phone with him and he realized he wasn't getting card info, he abruptly hung up.
Caller ID showed "Copper HB R MI" - looks the same as others see.
I hope others see this and don't get trapped.- Caller: College Testing Center

- EndeeCaller asked for confirmation of shipping details so that they could send out the requested testing prep information for my thirteen year old. When I questioned the nature of the call due to my child being a seventh grader, the caller stated, “Yeah, that’s a little early, huh?”, and quickly disconnected.

- In AtlantaCaller knew my daughter's name and address. Claimed to be from the College Testing Center and wanted to send materials my daughter requested. It sounded suspicious in this digital world. But then they asked for a credit card in case the materials weren't returned in time. I told them I didn't feel comfortable giving out that information when I hadn't spoken to my daughter. Seems as if the College Board should do more to protect the private information of minors.

- A Dad in UtahGot a call saying today saying that they were from the College Board and wanting to send out SAT study program materials. I told him that my daughter wasn't taking the SAT. They then said it was for the ACT as well. They had my daughter's information and our address. Wanted me to give payment info over the phone. When I said that I would not be doing that but that they could send me an email or text with all the info they hung up abruptly.

- MarjGot my call today! Almost got me until I tried to get him to repeat the name and website of the company. I felt uncomfortable giving my credit card info so I started a google search while my daughter spoke with him. I felt that he was talking too fast, not answering the questions I asked that was enough for me. I scammed him...told him I would call back. The call back number 888-845-0184
