Still another unwanted call from this Crestline VOIP number arrived today, 3 months since the last unwanted call on Oct. 18.  Once again, When the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message.  Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time while shamelessly preying on the public.

The perpetrator has been unmasked as Quality Air, a scam HVAC contractor (probably unlicensed).  Whether it's air duct cleaning, HVAC repairs, home improvements, credit cards, vacation giveaways, computer repairs, fake charities, or the IRS, A SCAM IS A SCAM IS A SCAM!

Caller ID says "unknown name".  Left no message.

These scumbags call on a daily basis. Sometimes twice daily.
Always blocked, and I never hear a ring!

Ring only 7x then hang up. Shut off answering machine as calls were coming in every 20 to 30 minutes for duct cleaning. When answering machine picked up it went from a raspy New York accent to a new recorded message with a woman’s voice about 2 months ago. Switched land line to data carrier. Running trace shows proxy router being used, but with only 7 rings, it’s tricky to get back to the original IP location, but it’s getting closer to a location hit that looks suspiciously like real corruption. The people they call appear to be the result of the Equifax hack/direct data sale. No other way to get info on people they call. They’re using local numbers with fake ID too. Don’t answer, if you do, hang up when the message starts.

Unbelievable that this number hasn't been stoped after over 3 years of complaints of scamming! I think phone companies should be held responsible for this too! They are definitely aware of this abuse but allow it to happen!

Chuck from the California Department of Contractors Called to recommend a licensed contractor for work that I need done on my home.  This is about the fifth call in an hour from people who want to fix my home.

He hung up as soon as I said hello. I called back, and the phone is no longer in service. STRANGE!

Definitely spam - called my landline, I ignored it, they didn't leave a message.

The fact that this robocaller scamster has been calling on this line for three years suggests there's a lot of suckers out there willing to blindly hand money to strangers. Remember that for every crime, there's a sucker. Crime pays when it comes to spamming.
