- Hope| 3 repliesI got a call from the number 909-271-3432. A guy with a foreign accent introduced himself as Shawn Williams, officer from the department of Legal Affairs. He asked for my husband and said that he needs to discuss some "legal matter" and that my husband needs to call back to settle a deal. I asked him for an 800- number and he said that the 800- number is a costumer service number, and my husband needs to call directly to him. When I insisted on receiving an 800-number, "Shawn" lost his temper and threatened that if we do not call back in 45 min, he'll open a case against my husband. I hang up the phone after that comment.
- CindyI got a call from the same number and same a guy with a foreign accent left a message saying his name is JF Thomas and he is calling from Legal Affairs and he wants me to call him back, blah, blah. I wish I could have taken his phone call so he can hear me talk... ha ha
- Ron| 1 replySame notes as people above; call from "Sean Williams" with an Indian accent. The voicemail is nearly undecipherable as his accent is so thick. He says he is with the Department of Legal Affairs and a legal matter is starting against me. He even suggests that I contact my lawyer before calling back. Considering I basically have nothing and own even less than nothing, I'm pretty sure there's no legal matter starting against me. HAHAHA! And if there is some fancy legal matter starting, go right ahead. I could use the excitement. I have a what's left of a diet coke and a half eaten tuna sandwich from Subway in the fridge, so good luck with that.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. - Kitty HawkMessage left by a heavily accented male voice claiming he is Sean Williams, from the department of legal affairs and has an urgent matter to discuss with me, may want to retain my attorney, or be in a legal mess, blah blah blah. If I find this rat [***], I am gonna rip of his head and [***] down his throat. SO SICK OF THIS [***]!!!

- MelissaMy husband received a call from this guy with a heavy Indian accent, saying he's with the Department of Legal Affairs, and there is legal action being started against him. So my husband says (sarcastically) "Oh, I'm in trouble???" and the guys starts his speech and my husband says "You're full of sh*&%t and hangs up. The guy calls back and leaves a full message with pretty much the same speech, and says my husband needs to call him back directly at 909-271-3432, and suggests he consider getting an attorney. His accent was terribly thick and he mispronounced several words. It was like he was reading off a note card.
- LoraJust got a call from this same number .. it was a lady saying she was Amy Taylor and my husband needed to call this number because is a legal action against him. she had a heavy Indian accent. You could hear people in the back ground. It also seem she was reading off a card, on what to say cause she kept pausing.

- idiot replies to Hope| 1 replyI got the message from a woman with a Pakistani accent claiming to be named "Lisa Davis" wanting to talk to me from the Legal Dept of the Dept of Treasury concering a legal action taken against my name. I called back using *67 and it is a Magic Jack customer. Sounds like another way for ISIS to try and make some money.
