    A man called and as soon as I answered asked for my husband by name. I said he was not available and then I asked if I could "take a message". He then just hung up. The caller's number is listed out of Rialto, CA.

    looks like the Scum Scam callers got a new number..They get UNLIMITED numbers so best seems to report these scum and DO not answer to unknown Scam attempts. these scammers have used 909-271-3512, 3517, 3519, 3521, 3524, 3525 and so on and on.......

    I never answer my land line and only answer my cell when I know the number.  It is a lot easier to just ignor all calls than to try and block all the scam calls----since I can get from one to ten any given day.  If it is important a message is left.  I used to worry about all the unknown calls.  I don't worry any more---for over a year now---and have never missed an important call.  Turned off the ringer on all phones except one and it has only 3 rings per call.  Live is so much easier, but it is sad that we can't even have full use of a phone we pay for.
