Received a message on my phone threatening legal action against my daughter. She hasn't lived here for over 10 years. The caller was "Mike" from the "Dept. of Legal Affairs." Whoever the heck that is. This is one of those scams that hopes you will get very nervous about the fact that you have a legal problem.

I just received a call from this phone number. They were calling for someone with the last name of "Almendarez(?)", and wanted me to talk to law enforcement about something. Wrong person and wrong number, bud.

Just received a phone call from 909-271-9883. The person was speaking with a very heavy accent. Stated that I was to contact Department of Legal Affairs immediately to avoid a very unpleasant leagl action that has been taken against me. Completely false.
