This number came from an ad on craigslist, Phoenix, AZ.  Job was for personal assistant for a company named Microelectronics Technologies, Inc.  Contact person:  Allen Chen. His office is supposed to be at 3333 Coyote Hill Rd         . Palo alto, CA  94304

This guy wanted me to commit fraud by depositing a fake check he sent via fed ex from the company under Microelectronics technology when I texted and email twice I received no reply I contacted the company to let them know under no circumstances was I going to cash a fake check and in my personal account! Hopefully these [***] get caught!

This SCAMMER has moved his operation to southern Cali. I answered the same ad on Craigslist.

I applied for the personal assistant job on Craig's list. He sent an email telling me to forward my contact info. I did that. I just received an email telling me to forward him the name of my financial institute so he can send me a payment to see how much he can trust me. I've worked at a bank before and I knew it was a scan after receiving this last email. You know it's one when they send you a check and you have to send it to someone else. I knew something was fishy. I felt it to. Like something was wrong. I will not be dealing with them.  Also the address on the form I had to fill out and send back is the address of the paper company. Not the address for the company.

I live in MN. I also replied to a job posting on Craigslist. After receiving the fake cashiers check for $2,450 I asked to speak with him by phone. He replied he his elderly, hard of hearing and only able to text.

Mr Allen Chen  travels a lot and gets his  hands occupied because he  works with other companies  in the states and outside, so it is imperative for him to have a worthy assistant who can monitor and keep him up to date with his  activities. Unreal, thought it was too good to be true thank god I googled before I got scammed.

I got this same exact email, word for word.

I recieved the same email word for word. SMDH These [***]! It was for a company called Hopewell holdings which i looked up and the name for the vice president Thomas Wu who needed a personal assistant, and thought it was legit, but after seeing this i know it is not.

I got the same email after responding to a personal assistant position on Craigslist. The only difference is the company is HHL HOPEWELL HOLDINGS LIMITED, the company is real and the name used is actually the manager, Thomas Jefferson Wu but I knew it was scam when he started talking about mailing me a check to see if he could trust me, yeah rite!!! I really want to contact the real Mr Wu and let him know what's going on with his company and name.

This is ridiculous. I got the same email everybody is talking about. It was "from" microelectronics technology inc and the managers name was Joseph Loadholtz. I'm glad I googled and saw the truth before I got sucked into the scam.

I got the same exact email from Mr Edward Smith smdh really these people are crazy it's people like me that need a job.. He text from a 404 number which is Georgia.. I knew it was to good to be true that's why I Google it

This is a scam. My credit card information was stolen from the big Michaels security breech. The hackers used my credit card to pay for craigs list ad. I reported this. Just received a return to sender envelope in the mail via fed ex. Funny thing is I never sent anything. Opened the package and it is a cashiers check. The scammers used my address to send cashiers check to another person. A police report has been filed.

Where do we report these people?

I received the same email and was trying to see how I report him to authorities. I replied the scam email and told him that I did my research and that I know its a scam and did not get a respond ever since then. smh.
