Left message claiming I had recently applied for a payday loan. Scam.

Yet two months later,  number is still working.

Insurance scam. CAllen from this number and another number.

Yes, they just called me as well & from a Illinois number 7085237246 insurance scam

*67#.  Rings than goes to if you removed from our phone list press 9 then disconnects!  Message says if you want to lower or get rid of your student loans have to call immediately!  But call back # is for NY not Lake arrowhead Ca.??

Didn't answer as I don't know anyone in that area. Left VM stating something about consolidating student loans with an interest rate of 0.49%...LMAO. I highly doubt that the "gooberment" would go for losing that much money on compounding interest. Not to mention that I paid my student loans off about 15 years ago. Translation --- BLOCKED (along with the almost 100 other numbers they use 😡)

Excerpts from the message: "Total loan forgiveness ... reduce your loan payments by up to 75% ... trust me on this ..." No caller name / company was given. Spam / scam.

Received a call from this number and they did not leave a voice mail message.  I attempted to block the call but they hung up after 2 rings so I didn't get there fast enough.  The caller ID name display showed: "SLC HELP DESK" which has spoof written all over it.

STOP calling me!! I do not have a student loan.

Scam re: a federal student loan reduction program. No such program exists (or else I would have already used it!), and common sense will tell you that any time a company boasts a "federal" program and uses the line "this deal expires Friday, so call me now!" then it likely isn't legit.

Received a call from this number. Voicemail said it was Jen, and she wanted to help me get out from under my Student Loan debt and to call her at 877-627-5589. I've never had any student loans. SCAM.

It was that "[***] Jen" calling about reducing my student loan debt. I wish there was someone ,only legit, like them 40 years ago when I had student loans. I actually had to work for myself and pay the damn things off. AMAZING how that works.

Sadly that will not help you. The previous administration allowed Telemarketers and scammers to buy cell phone lists and make random robo dialed calls. They person gets paid if you respond to their scam, like click through ads on websites like yelp, etc. It also lets them know that the number is an active number and then they sell it to others.

I only know 3 people from a 909 area & they're all doin hard time so unless they got butt phones in the joint which I doubt I'm not answering this.

It a solicitation for college funds or something like that.  I just blocked the number myself.
