just received @ 6:33 am. Lovely. I didn't pick up.

A guy with a heavy Indian accent said his name was something or other and he was calling from something America loan company about an application I'd submitted. He asked was I still interested in the loan. Since I hadn't applied for any loan it must be some sort of scam. I just said " no" and he politely replied, "ok sorry to have bothered you ma'am". whatever.

I Just received the exact same call.   sigh.  PLEASE make them go away!

Now they are a law firm.  Heavy accent, but I eventually understood him.  He was calling for someone I had never heard of, and he insisted the home phone number I have had for 25 years was a business number belonging to this unknown person.  I laughed and said he was running some sort of scam, at which time he asked me if I would like him to call the authorities so they could come over and see who was running the scam, him or me.  I laughed harder and asked him to please do so.  He threatened me with the authorities again, and I repeated my wish for the authorities to come to my house.  I got a dial tone after that. :)

Just for fun I called the dude back and ask him if the authorities were on the way, because I had to leave and didn't want to miss them.  After a pause he told me he had to file the affidavit, and after he did that it would be another 7-8 business days before I saw them.  So my local police will come to my door in 7-8 business days?  No, he said, not the police - some other authorities.  At this point it was obvious my questions were taking him off of his scripted notes, so I let him know I'd be anxiously waiting for the authorities to show up in 7-8 business days.

This guy knew everything about me everything. .granted I'm looking for a loan and I applied online. . I'm still lost how do I find out more info on this company. ..

I wish I would have used your line of asking if they were on their way. The man's name is supposedly Dennis who called me and told me he was collecting from a company. I already have payments arrangements with this company and he told me that I wasn't cooperating and never to call him again and for me to Go To Hell. He said the authorities would be at my  job in 1/2 hour.  It has been 2 hours now. No one came, but I was so scared I did call a lawyer.

I got a call from a Gary jones, about me being accepted for a loan up to 10,000 although I have been trying to get a loan. I only wanted a 1000 loan He said he was from Citibank.  Silly me fell for it and he got 80 bucks from me. Never again . I still call and harass him every day though ^.^ hehehe he is a scammer ! Beware of this inconsiderate punk . Karma is a b**** he he has it coming to him .

Wow, the same thing happend to me , and i fell for it like a dummy! Cuz i applied for so many loans online , i was happy to hear i was approved for one! But it was a scam and i lost some money!! SMH LESSON LEARNED!!!!

I recently got my 12 year old daughter a cell phone so that she could call me in case of emergencies. Several times a day she gets a call from this number asking for random people. Today I kept the phone and began to answer these calls, stating to the caller, who sounds like he is in another country all together, that my 12 year old has this phone now and I want to be taken off of this call list. He then wanted her name so that he could make sure to remove. I said no. I will not give him my childs name. And there is no way that he needs to remove her by name. She is 12 and he could not possibly have her name. He got angry, hung up and began calling and hanging up on me for nearly an hour. I'm am furious!!

man with an indian accent called claiming  he was from chase bank. NOT

Got a call from a heavy accent indian who claims his name is john jones, which sounded like b.s. From the Start ... Saying criminal charges have been filed against me and my social that he needs my lawyers info, he proceeded too transfer me too some other indian too explain, i was done being amused so i hung up, he then called me back cursing saying hes sending marshalls too my door unless i pay money i told him i got more time then money so tell the marshalls too be quick cus i like the sound of free room and 3 meals a day plus recreational activities, again he curses while i laugh at him.. So he hung up and proceeded to call and hang up for about 20min.... These scams are ridiculous... John jones my [***] h ew couldnt even pronounce john jones.... Might be more believable if they use their real names.... Then again no law firm is gonna curse you out ..... Verye professional attitude john jones from texas.....lol only in america.....lol better yet only in india..... P.s. 1 week later still waiting on the marshalls so i can claim my rent free room and meals

Another dirty indian pay day loan scam. Pick up a yell at those fools so they will keep calling asking for fake names to BS you into a loan scam.

Claimed to be part of US Dept of Treasury but didn't know his agency, nor office.  credential ID offered did not meet US Dept of Treasury standards.
Claimed to have treasury dept officials here in 45 minutes to arrest me, but didn't know who I was...  I was calling from a USG phone number...
