Got a call from this number a while ago. His name is John Paul claiming that he works for IRS tax dept.This guy asks you to deposit money to some kind of green Money pack or else threatens to report to court about some [***] financial transactions.
Just Ignore this call nothing gonna happen.

I received a call from this Paul, following an attempt secure a payday loan. He claimed to be calling from the Bank of America, and offered up to $7,000.00 if I purchased a GreenBack Money Pac card and loaded $50.00 onto it.

He claimed to have the last name of Johnson, but his thick accent begged to differ...

Just got a call from this guy Paul Johnson around 3:40 pm on feb 13th. He was apparently from department of treasury (which he couldnt pronounce) of US and Canada. he said I owe $1200 in federal tax  and either I pay it right away or he will send the chief of police to my house. he wanted me to go to walmart and call him. what a BS... Be aware!

And I'm from the state of North Dakota and Nevada.

I would ignore calls from this number.  It's just someone calling using a magicJack.  They could be calling from anywhere in the world, and it's untraceable and cheap for them to call.

Have a little pity on the Canadian Peso. Isn't it bad enough to have 6 months of winter, then Canada Day, followed by 6 months of winter?

I too have received the same call about a payday loan, but he tells me that he wants to F*** ME & that he will pay me $50.00 for a good time.

2014 Feb 21 Fri -- I got a call today from this guy called Paul Johnson at (090) 666-4442.  He claimed to be working for Treasurey Dept and said some stuff about some issue/problem with IRS and that there is an arrest warrant ready for me and they would arrest me today unless I pay them some money immediately.  Obviously, this was a scam and I hung up on him..  However, don't we have someone in government catching such people?  Obviously this is a USA number and his loaction couldbe found from the phone number records in a few seconds... WHy is this stuff still going on? some one in the fraud prevention area is sleeping on their job that they are getting paid a salary for?

I have revived so many calls from this number n 6 different others telling me the same thing you have Been told I told them I would call the FBI n I know they are scamming ppl I had one woman call me n after she found  I was a single mom of three am Kids she let me know for sure they were scamming report this asap to the FBI and they will help

That called me today said I was approved for a loan he said he was with Bank of America an I needed to get a green dot card and calm him back. I just got scammed from a net bank aswell his name was Calvin Williams where are middle eastern people getting Irish English names. Our government won't do anything about these people. Wtf..

How are they getting people a imformation from loan web sites.
