http://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/ - Randy| 2 repliesThis company had called me after applying on lending tree for short term loan. I have used lending tree in the past with no problems. However this "payday loan inc." Representative Jason Murphy had responded. According to him the initial payment was to verify funds and was supposed to be the first of 20 payments. The fees incurred all sounded correct. As of now I am out 428 dollars. I also researched online the two different numbers that were calling me during the whole process. 909 666 4557 & 425 200 1622.

- AnonymOn 4/08/2014 I recieved a call from (909)666-4557 and a man who identified himself as "Robbie Williams" says he's from the IRS and that somehow my taxes were filed incorrectly or filed twice and that I needed to pay 300 or I would have a federal warrant issued for my arrest for fraud. My fiance's ex has been an exhausting and time consuming pain in my A#$ and has actually fraudulently canceled my car insurance, broke into our home, attacked my 8 year old daughter, bla bla, you get the idea... So needless to say it didn't seem to far fetched that something else had happened and I probably had another letter to write to dispute it on my credit report and what not. My dad is financially wise and had educated me about protecting my identity and such, so I even called the number back to see if it was the IRS and sure enough it answered You've reached the IRS please select this and that, so I figured it was ligit I went and got a prepaid card and sent the 300. about 2 hrs later MR. "Williams" called and told me that he had made an error in the amount due to my SS# being red flagged and I needed to send another 302.00 to clear up the alleged fraud charges or a federal warrant would still be issued. I told him I wanted to see the error in writing so I could verify it first and by this point I'm thinking hmmm anyway... and I call back and go through the whole "IRS automated system" press 1, press 5, etc. I was able to talk to another person that "worked for" the IRS, still being cautious I asked to speak to a supervisor, they were able to provide one in which the supervisor assured me that my copy would be mailed to me and I should recieve it within 5-7 business days... they had all my information correct, EVERYTHING! My kids names and ages so ya like an IDIOT I sent the 302.00... Well 5-7 business days later i had not recieved to paperwork or anything even labeled "IRS" I called and got "Mr. Williams" answering machine/voicemail box and when I had called for 3 days 4 times each day and recieved no calls back, I called the IRS... THE REAL DEPARTMENT and was told this was a fairly new scam and I wasnt the only one but I got off cheap at 602.00! Its scary to know that it is this easy to be targeted and taken advantage of which pisses me off but what really just makes me boil is the fact they mentioned my kids! I don't do facebook or any other social media's for myself and I don't allow my kids too either for this very reason, predators! but somehow they still managed to do this... And now I still have to go to bed knowing some stranger who is an obvious fraud and predator has not just my information but he has MY KIDS! I feel like a complete idiot !!! This is a very bad scam and yes I am filing all the appropriate reports with the appropriate departments! Please be careful out there... the people can get so much information... even when your not putting it out there for the world to see!!!

- T.BassYou can count on other calls in the future. Once these low life's get your number its out there for everybody. For two days every month I get about 50 calls. My call blocker already has 150+ numbers in it. They use different numbers all the time. Internet telephone services are also used. Hell I get calls from Egypt...Coasta Rico...Russia....There are legitimate services that you can use to get your info off of some of the public sights......good luck....we all need it...
- Bill replies to Randy| 1 replyare you people really this stupid?
- Resident47 replies to BillGullible and desperate, I would say. Payday lenders, and thieves posing as lenders, like these customers best, the "unbanked" kind who will accept runaway 400% interest and exposure to whole networks of criminals as their "poverty tax".

Told me I needed to talk to the supervisor who was preparing my paper work. You are approved for a loan up to $10,000. How much do you need and how much can you afford? Ask them to stop calling blocked the numbers and they still called 0000000000, unknown. At least 40 calls. They also identified themselves from different companies including Click n Loan and Ace Cash. Be very careful going forward they have your infomation. .

- Tired of This!| 1 replyFifteen calls from this number today! I don't know who this is, have not applied for any loans anywhere, and I'm beginning to think there's no way you can stop these people, even when you're on the Do Not Call Registry.
- Here we go again!Six months ago I got one call after another from this number and others...all saying I was approved on a loan. I called and told them I was on a Do Not Call list and not who they thought I was They were asking for Caesar Bell. I told them to stop. They didn't so I blocked the numbers. Now here they go again. Today I got 10 calls from the ( 909) number and 26 from others! However I haven't heard from (909) since I last told them to take me off their list.
