Okay, so now he's calling me from a new number (was 821-927-0750), saying that he's from the US Treasury Dept of Legal Affairs.  "Matt Peterson" who has a suspiciously-heavy Indian accent, says that I need to call him back regarding the "enforcement action" and that if I don't it may turn into a "legal mess for you."  If I'm busy, he says, I should have my region attorney call.  Until then he wishes for me to have "a blessed day."

The Treasury Dept. and FTC websites warn against these frauds.  Another number for the "block" list!

Got a call from this number,  "Matt Peterson" claiming I was being charged with something, but i could only find out if I called Sam Taylor.  When I asked for the number, they gave me the same number on my caller ID, and an ex 102.  When I called the same number back Sam Taylor picked up.  I didnt even dial an extention. This is a scam trying to get personal information.

We got a call from "Matt Peterson" with a heavy Indian Accent.  Today the number was from 909-666-5789.  He was asking for our youngest Son.  We told him he was in the military and currently overseas.  He wanted us to get our son his number so he could call them back.  He say's he is from the US Treasury Dept of Legal Affairs.  My husband called him back and they answered the phone saying they were  US Treasury Dept of Legal Affairs.  Interesting that the US treasury is in Washington DC and their area code is 202.  Not buying it.  Blocking this number from our phone.
