Call from 909-666-5804, Rialto, California, caller with strong accent, asking for my daughter, identified himself as "Shawn Williams", said he was from the US Department of Treasure, about a legal matter.  Asked to call back on 909-666-5804, about an urgent legal matter. Asked I give her a message to that effect. 1) US Treasury shouldn't be calling.  2) Name seems too common to be true. 3) Caller ID does not match.  4) A confidential legal matter? And willing to leave a message with an unknown party.  Told him I thought he was a fraud and I was going to inform legal athorities.  He then said, OK, we will just proceed with the legal actions.  I had heard these guys get rough right away, so that didn't phase me.  Watch out for this scam folks.

909-666-5804 This is a total scam! Some random guy would call with a very strong accent saying he is calling from US Department of Treasure, about a legal matter. Told him to stop scaming people and he was trying to confirm my home address. I mentioned that I would not provide any information. He asked me to call back this 909-666-5804.

Sister in law just got a call asking for her son who is in military.  said he was Shawn Williams from Department of Treasury needed to talk to him about an urgent legal matter or they would proceed with legal action.  Told her to ignore and to block that number.

Just got a call from this number stating that my husband is involved in "legal action" started from the Dept of Treasury.  Very thick accent and syntax that would not be in line with legal action.

Same issue, 909-666-5804, on 3/8/15, strong accent with a 1978 american name of allen clark, saying he is from the legal affairs of us treasury. The dude sounds like he is falling alseep when leaving the message and hard to understand his words.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Had a voicemail message for our adult daughter from "Shawn Williams with the "Dept of Legal Affairs calling on a very important matter." Said enforcement action had been started on her, etc., etc., etc. His accent was SO heavy I could barely understand what he was saying. Shawn Williams? Scam!
