Scam telling you they are the IRS and you need to call them or they will start legal action.  They are trying to get your ss number!  block them!!!

Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Just received a call from this number, and since I do not answer unknown callers, I let the voice mail pick up. The message left was from someone that speaks very poor English - Middle Eastern would be my guess. They did not say they were from the IRS as others here mentioned. They said it was an urgent time sensitive matter and that my Attorney needed to call them back ASAP or that the issue would unfold itself on me. Whatever the hell that is supposed to mean, as it sure as hell don't scare me one bit.  He said his name was Tyson Walker and the way he spoke was so jumbled and choppy that anyone with half a brain would know that this was some made up crap from some scammer! I just blocked the  number from calling me and will do the same thing again when they switch to a new number and start this mess all over again.

Received a strange phone call from 909-666-5891, talked about starting enforcement activities against me

Yes, I read somewhere where they are beginning to spoof local police departments phone numbers.

Person said he was Steve Robinson of the Dept of Legal Affairs. He said Law enforcement action was started against me and I better call 909-666-5891 to avoid a mess.  This is a big scam.
