Caller identified himself as Revenue Officier. Stated that I was in serious trouble and should call asap or have my attorney contact him. Also stated that if I did not do so promptly, I could face serious legal action, including jail time. Called was ended with have a good day and be blessed. Totally bogus call!

He left a message a few days ago saying he was Allen Watson (with an Indian accent) from the Dept of Legal Affairs stating that there is a legal action against me and that  I should call him to try to avoid legal action. But he also suggested that I retain legal counsel. And ended it with "have a blessed day".

Got the same call today. I didn't let him even finish his whole sentence before I told him to NEVER call my home again or I would gave him investigated by the authorities! So tired of people trying to make a living by scamming other people!

this number left a message on my answering machine today, said he was from legal affairs, same story as above. I googled and saw this website. wont be calling back....... thanks everyone

I received a call from this number today. A guy who said his name was eric smith left me a message. When I called back a guy with an Indian accent answered the phone he said the irs had flagged my name on 3 serious charges and I should get a lawyer as I was in serious trouble and could be facing jail time. When I told him I had no clue what this is about n I never received any notices he transferred to another person with an Indian accent he told me I hadn't filed my taxes correctly and that I owed $4000+ to the irs. I became upset and demanded to speak with someone who could clarify and tell me exactly what's going on the man said I would have to wait 24hrs to find out more info and I said connect me with someone now that can help me and he said i don't have to deal with this and hung up on me!

They called a friend of mine and threatened from Dept of Legal Affairs. These [***] are sooo stupid. When you call back their number, 909-666-5972 a recording advises you have reached a MAGIC JACK number. Since when does the government use Magic Jack ???? These people are stupid, stupid, stupid. I have a feeling that this scam is set up by a guy named Alan. He gets people's numbers mixed up and re-uses numbers from previous calls. Again, this group is as dumb as it comes. All of their mothers must be proud of these imbeciles! Go have fun with your camels you stupid, spineless schmucks!
