This person lindsayurbin@gmail.com put and add on Craigslist saying that she has free puppies and she say that I only have to pay for the delivery

I'll bet she wants money wired (or a prepaid card number given) to a "shipper" which is actually the scammer. I could be wrong, but that seems to be the scenario.
Please check your local shelter (or Petfinder/sites on line) .  There are so many loving animals available and you see exactly what you are getting.

I am in contact with the same person and she says she lives on Thunder Bay, Ontario but the area code she's texting me with is 909 not 807 which is the area code for Thunder Bay.

Lindsayurbin@gmail.com emailed me.She states she has 2 teacup maltese that I can have for free but she lives in Balmertown, Ontario so she will ship them to me I have to pay 200.00 / puppy for the shipping. I asked her the name of the shipping company and she told me to contact 909-666-9237

NEVER, EVER, pay upfront via wire transfer or prepaid debt card, to have anything shipped to you. You can not recover your money.
Also, never buy a pet that you can not touch first.

If you want a pet, visit an animal shelter, there are more than enough pets at those places.

Just like the first post - there are no puppies.  She is trying to scam you out of the shipping fee.

You can get great pets at your local animal shelter.

Told me she had 2 BoXer pups she didn't have time for.  All I had To pay was shipping.  Scam.  So glad I came across this page.  Thank you

This person placed a Kijiji ad for the Edmonton Alberta area. Free Chihuahua pups. Said she lives in Edmonton. I looked up the number.
This person has texted me just now.  I know a scam when I see one. This is not even an Edmonton Alberta Canada number! Scam!

This person placed a eClassified4u.com ad for 2 free teacup chihuahuas in Michigan and I responded via email.  Responding email received.  1st red flag - did not answer any of my questions.  2nd red flag - pictures of puppies in email were not the same color as the puppies in ad.  3rd red flag - told me to call 909-666-9237 in California?  I'm still RUNNING!!!!!!

Almost any ad you see on those web sites, especially for "free" puppies will be a scam.  They will end up asking for money for shipping, then keep asking for more.  Do yourself a favor and go to the shelter or rescue and get your dogs there.  You can meet them, see what they look like, hold them, no shipping charges, and the best reward of all is how great you will feel giving that dog a home and you will be repaid with the best friend you will ever have.

This same person "Lindsay Urbin" told me she was giving away pit bull terrier puppies and I was of course skeptic so looked up the shipping company and it's legitimate but heres the thing I looked at the location they are in .. Singapore they don't ven ship to Canada unless you live there right, she called me from (239) 205 - 4843 which is in Florida.. Mind you she told me she lived in Ontario, then Red Lake and now Florida .. BE CAREFUL GUYS!!

Same thing here!  I've seen her ad in eClassified4u.com and told me she had 2 lovely labs to give away and I only had to pay for shipping!!!  Yeah right!!!  She said that she lives in Ontario but when I did a search on her (or his) IP address, it said CALIFORNIA!!!  That same person is putting a ton of ad all over the world (Australia, Canada, Us, ect...) and in each & every town.  she has lots of time to waist!!!  This is a SCAM!  Stay away folks

An ad in Kijiji Regina for free puppies and the name was Karen Bernard at 580-2764.  Looked up her number and is was from Rialto California.   Pretty sad.

She just pulled same thing on me and i checked up in company she planned to ship through and they are located in Chicago.

There are no dogs.  The whole shipping thing is the con and they keep calling with "problems" asking for more money.  Go to the shelter you will be a lot happier.

I'm just going through the same scam! 2 bichon frise pups for adoption. Shipping cost only $300.
Given an airport number 19096669237 (morgan) who states he works at the red lake airport Ontario (where the pups are) and that the shipper is Pet Express. No such shipper in red lake- ontario. I called the local pet store-they figured it was a scam!

Btw,BEWARE, SCAM this person she assumed she's selling a teacup pomeranian puppies and giving it for free and even mentioned they are siblings that it's 2 puppies together to be delivered. Be careful people do not  wire any money to this person. I'm hoping to get it delivered and my niece is hoping for it as well .as per her email ger son is really sick and that she got no time for the puppies. I don't know how people make some with puppies these days?are they that broke or maybe jobless. Seriously have mercy to these people. Please get a better job rather than misleading other people from your own benefit.

There are no "puppies".  it is all a scam to milk "shipping fees" from you.  You will pay hundreds to this so called shipper.  The crate is too small.  It costs extra to fly them there, the insurance went up, whatever they can think of.  Do yourself a favor and go to the shelter and get your pet.  You can meet it, take it home, and you will most certainly have the best friend you ever wanted.  I know i have never gone wrong with a shelter pet and I have had lots of them over my time.

Thanks for the heads up !  I just answered and add which had the number (319) 214-5856 for Montreal.  I e-mailed them asking their location if I can visit their dogs.  They replied saying they had 2 dogs to give away, but needed more information from me.  I guess SCAM !
