- Jessica| 1 replyA recording about a vehicle warranty that is about to expire. Instructed me to press 1 to speak to a representative, but no instructions on how to be removed. I pressed 9 but was disconnected. Called the number on *69 and got a recording that said "Sorry for calling, we only purchase and call business lines. To be removed, press one."
Pressed 1, then got the same message again. Over and over and over. Called back and pressed 2, got the message again, and THEN pressed 1, and finally got a voice that said, "Thank you" and was disconnected.- Call type: Telemarketer
- rosita replies to Jessicai got the same message, and i did what you did.. i hate this people to get in to your private number
- andrewI've received some phone calls recently from this number. Today was the second time I actually answered it. As was the first time, I asked the employee to remove my number from the database and I was assured it will be. Upon asking for a name or supervisor to verify this, they hung up on me!
- Caller: Some extended warranty for vehicles

- rjk| 3 repliesmy wife got a call from 909-842-9105 on her cell phone.she does not know anyone with a 909 area code and did not answer. about 20 minutes later i got a call from the same number on my cell phone tha t went to voicemail.
the message was broken up something about a warranty. my brother got a call on his cell the other day about a warranty.is there any way to prevent telemarketers from calling your cell phone?- Call type: Telemarketer
- Marga replies to rjk| 2 repliesI just got the call. It said it was the second call, it was the first. I hit 1 to talk to customer service b/c I was curious about the company. She asked my car make and model....slipped over what the model was, which made me suspicious. She asked my mileage. At that point, b/c she was claiming my warranty had expired I pressed twice to find out if she knew my name--that I wanted to make sure she had the right person. She hung up.
Would be nice to find out what this company is. - Grrrrr....Got a call from the number. Did not pick up because I know no one from that area code. Looked it up & found it was out of L.A. Called right back, rang once and then a femal voice recording came on in the middle of a sentence asking if I'd like to be removed from their list press 1. Did that, then a male voice recording said "Thank you" and I was disconnected. Had no idea it was for a warrenty until I saw this web site. Kinda weird I just received a letter in the mail concerning that same subject the very same day.
- Grrrrr....You know I just noticed after posting last mssge that below all the mssges about extended warranty scam calls are links to other extended warranty sights. Hmmm that doesn't seem coincidental at all....
- Me too.I have received it twice now. I talked to him, I asked "how did you get my number because I don't even have a car and he hung up." Ah I love telemarketers. Im going to track the number and see where it is coming from.
- Bruce WilkesMy wife and I have repeatedly been called about a warranty that is about to expire.
- Caller: DON'T KNOW
- Call type: Telemarketer
- discistGot it also, several times. They want your make and model of car, and claim to have gotten the number from another auto business. I suspect they get the cell phone number when you leave a car for repairs. I suspect a Ford Dealer.
- Caller: none
- Call type: Unwanted
- RhianI have received a call three times from this number. The second time, I answered, and it was about renewing my car warranty. I was interested, but it took at least 15 minutes for them to "verify my information". I was transferred from one representative to the next and they each asked me about my name, the spelling, my address, the spelling, my phone number, etc. I just got annoyed that I was giving them all this information, but wasn't getting any information about this warranty in return that I told them I was no longer interested and hung up.
I also asked them how they got my number and the rep said that the company I bought my car from (Ford) gave them my information!!!- Call type: Telemarketer
- mattmissed call with a message about auto warrenty running out, which is funny because I own a 74 VW beetle so there is no warrenty
- Call type: Telemarketer
- TheTruthAggressive car warranty pitches — Senior citizens are often targeted by scammers and the extended car warranty scam is one of their latest tricks. It typically starts with the victim receiving a letter, postcard or prerecorded phone call informing them that their car warranty has expired and they have to purchase a new one. After an aggressive sales pitch, the victim agrees to buy an expensive extended warranty that they don't really need.

- Kimjust got a call from this number, didn't answer, and no voicemail left. I don't give out my cell number to many people, so I am surprised I received a call based on what you have all said

My husband and I both got the phone call today, mine around 1:00 pm and his just a couple minutes ago, 8:47pm CST. I researched the number and found this site. I pressed 1 to speak with someone to ask how they got the phone number but they hung up. Called the number back and press 1 to be removed from their list.
