leaving messages regarding your vehicle factory warranty notice....call us back....???

Also received a call about a vehicle warranty expiring.  Did not say what manufacturer, or what vehicle.  I own two.  Call came in on my work cell, which is a number I rarely give out.  Sounds like fraud to me.

Warranty Notice? for what? call us back? NFW! Fraudsters.

I also received a call on my work cell, and I also rarely give out this number! I let it go to voice mail and it was a recording about an expiring car warranty.

I received a call today from California.  I let it go to voicemail and the message said that my warranty was expiring. I was told to call back and choose one of two options:  1.  Press one to talk to a representative; 2.  Press two to remove myself from their list.

My first call went to my car dealership.  This is not an authorized company.  Ignore the calls.  They are made by auto-dialers.  If you answer or you call back, they know they have a valid phone number and they will add you to their call list.

I got it too, it says its registerred to LA County, near Claremont, California, I got it on my personal cell number, which is weird since I have no friends or family in that area of LA county, that even have my number.

Same car insurance message as above, sent to Ottawa, Canada to my new number (cell just bought this month) which is not shared widely.  Plus I do not own a car.  Obvious scam.  Did not reply.

I just got a call from this number but didn't answer. An automated message was left on my vm regarding the expiration of the warranty on a vehicle...I don't own a vehicle!! Ridiculous.

just received call on cell from 909.842.9107  - did not recognize the area code as canadian so i hung up without answering call.

I too got a call on my work's cell phone, which is not supposed to have a published number (the phone is only used by oncall staff for work-related problems.)

A couple of months ago, I got a "post-card" in the mail with a similar style of approach on it.  I can't remember the name of the company on that postcard ... something like Canada Auto Warranty Suppliers, or some such thing.  I remember looking it up on the web at the time and there had been an alert put out by (I think) the Hamilton, or Burlington police to not reply to these people, as they were a scam.  However, there was also a follow-up by the police apologizing for announcing that it was a scam.  Probably they were forced to retract their warning to the public over some legal technicality that allows these people to avoid the legal definition of scam artists.

I, on the other hand, would put them into the "scam artist" category, because they use devious and outright false information to claim that your warranty is about to expire to try to draw unsuspecting people in.  This to me is a scam and if nothing else, they are to be avoided.

If this was the wild west and they were hanging out a shingle in my town to do business, I'd be driving them out of town!

I just go a call from this number on my cell - no message left - since is not a recognized number did not answer - recommend everyone do the same.

I've been getting these calls at home and now on my cell. I know it's a scam, but I decided to have a little fun with them

Pressed 1 and within seconds I had a "representative" on the line. He asked who am I speaking to? I replied - "You don't know? You called me." - He then repeated my phone number and said it was being placed on their Do Not Call list.

Hmm, seems they don't like harassing phone calls at work!

Got the same call as described by other people about a expiration of a car warranty. (My car is brand new!) The call was made on my cell phone, I live in Ottawa, Canada

I just got a phone call from them, no message though. Probably fraud as well.

Looks like they are doing the Sudbury loop - just got a call on my cell too (2nd time in past week) - calling by area I guess

I told them to take me off the call back list.

Got a call from this number, answered and there was no response. They hung up shortly after.

got this call on my cell this morning-i don't own a car, i don't know anyone from california. SCAM. MY dad gets calls from this number too.
