Called several times today, roughly about an hour or more apart.

Both of the following numbers were used.

909-842-9142 and 629-259-5579

The phone rings about 4 times or more, then stops.

I received a call from this number.  The lady said I have been selected to receive a $100 gas card.  When I said "no thank you" and asked to be removed from their list she hung up on me.  This is the second day in a row that I havce received this call.  Yesterday it was a guy and he also hung up on me when I asked to be removed.

Same thing for me as what Christi experienced.  They've called about a dozen times and hangup on me when I ask them to remove me from the list.  They also tell me they received my number from "partnerships with gas stations all across california", which was obviously a lie.

They claimed their company name is CALLERS ADVANTAGE.

Just got two calls from them.  Responded in Spanish and replied no hablo englais

He apologized and said he was removing me from their phone list.  Of course, if I didn't speak English I wouldn't have understood that but hey, it was fun.

called my cell 3 times today and kept hanging up.

This number has called me at least 10 times.  I have spoken to someone in at least 5 of those calls.  I asked politely for them to remove me from the list as they called my cell phone number.  They said they would each time, then within hours I get a call back.  

I had read a story on www.NewsOrViews.com that said to send the number to donotcall@fcc.gov.  I will try that.

keeps calling, when asked to stop, the guy said he will keep calling and go ahead and report him

same here.  Calls almost every single day for over a month now.  How can these things be stopped?

Calls and hangs up every night.  I have not idea who since I have not talked to anyone.

got a call like this last night.  said i would not get charged for trial programs.  my bank called to report fraud.

I get two calls every day for about a week, then nothing for a little bit, then they get back at it.  Jerks.

The caller stated that he needed to varify my personal information and that I was chosen to receive a $300 gas card - my name came from a recent purchase at walmart (untrue).  He wanted to varify my information through a major credit card and needed the card #.  When I asked him were he was from he stated the company name was Gold Coast United Benefit located in Phoenix, AZ and his name was Fred McKenzie and his ID # was 11885.

Same as the other postings.... multiple calls to my mobile phone even though I called the number back to request that they stop.

Received a phone call tonight 10/18/2008 at approx 9:57 CDT from the same number.  Told the person that they had called a business and to remove me from their list.  He then proceeded to explain I had won a $100 gas card.  I repeated they had called a business and then I then hung up.

3 minutes later, the same person called back and said that I had missunderstood them and I then repeated again that they had called a business and remove my number.  I also informed them that if they called again it was harrassment and I would call Ontario, CA PD.

These guys have been calling for the last week.
Caller ID shows them as PROMOTIONS.. the times, dates, and numbers my ID has shown have been:

My husband hasn't answered it until they tried this last time. It started out with a brief pause of silence, then a male voice coming on saying 'hello ma'am, how are you today?'

I cut him off at the end and said 'If you're a telemarketer, take us off your list.' He responded with 'Did I say I was a telemarketer?'...I repeated myself, then hung up. Emailing this to the DNC group as well.

I got the Same call again today. 9098429142 .

number, differnt person. I am trying to be nice, but

I have received these calls for several days. I answer and they hang up. What can I do about it.

These people have even called me Sunday mornings.

There is a complaint form at the fcc website (fcc.gov) under "Contacting the FCC". The direct link is http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm . If your number is on the national do not call list and you continue to get these calls, get as much info as you can from the caller and report them to the FCC.

Called my cell phone(for some reason the FCC released cell numbers early in 2008 according to my carrier).  I knew it was a telemarketer, so when they answered, I told them they reached the police department.  The best way to get deal with them if you are on the no call list, is to get as much info from them, do not let them talk except to answer your questions.  Ask them their name, what company they represent, if they have a no call list and have then send it to you. Get as much info as you can, then go to https://www.donotcall.gov/ and register a complaint.  The government should be fining these companies, and the more calls you receive, the more complaints you file, the greater the fines.  Not always true though.
