unknown call- answered & line went dead

Received a phone call but no response and went dead

Called but did not leave a lessage......I do not know them so I did not answer. I assume it was a telemarketer or a scammer trying to get a CC number.

Called several times over last two days. Did not answer and no message left.

phone call from some pseudomarketing company trying to get my mailing address and connection information into my bank account. Said they would send me a package from California containing $500 free internet shopping along with $60 discount on fuel accepted at any gas station; all i had to do was set up an autopayment with my bank for $2.  Told me HQ in Phoenix AZ, however they were not authorized to provide a physical or mailing address. Told me website was under construction.
Will be reporting to authorities.

Just called right now and picked up and hung up.

This number continues to call me daily both on my home, work and cell number.  I have NO idea how they got all this, sometimes no one there, other times a recording about something to do with a car warranty.  Never a human being on the line.

called 8-9-8 at 12:45 p.m.  I.D. Read Paging Phone CA 1-909-842-9148, when you answer and say hello....there is no sound, then phone goes dead. I did a return call, recording said that number can not be reached and then gives a code.

Called twice this morning. No message.

Didn't answer left no voicemail

Caller said he was from Phoenix but spoke very broken English.  Claims that we "won a gift gas gift card" if we are willing to confirm information.

called after 9...we asked him to be removed from his list, he said he was unable to as he was unauthorized to.  We asked to speak to his supervisor, and he got combative.  He hung up .  And called us back.  Accused us of hanging up on him..called us a nasty name and asked if we thought he was a fool, hung up on us again.  We called that caller id number, and got a message telling us to be removed press 1. ( I hope this isn't one of the "bahamas" scams)

Called saying my phone number had won a $500 shopping spree that could be used anywhere for anything. The guys name was Steve Hood from epiphany unlimited. All I had to do was pay 1.95 shipping to ups. When I ask him if it was a shopping card, why send it ups as opposed to regular mail, he didn't realy have an answer, just that that is the way they do things. Figured it was a scam, so told him not interested and hung up!

In broken English w/an Indian/Pakistani accent, said he was calling from Phoenix, Az and told me I won a $100.00 gas card for being a Visa/MC user, but then wanted the exp date for my card, and then went to ask for my #, when I told him he should already have it, and I knew this was a scam, he got beligerant and said he just needs to vedrify that I am the account holder.  I told him not to call me again and that I was reporting him.  He gave me a phony name of Austin Barpoza and a phont empl ID of 11834.......Watch out! Positively a scam!

Answered the call and said "Hello" about three times. No answer on the line but could tell the connection was open. Maybe they didn't like my voice. I'm a very deep bass.

got a call and some hindu named "sam" said i could get 700.00 in free gas coupons. just to confuse him i said we do not offer coupons. he said "no no no we give YOU free coupons" i said "huh? , we don't offer ANYTHING for free" and as he started to speak again, i hung up .. hahahaha -- he probably was really confused after that !!!

Just got another call from this number.  This time I answered and he said I have a $100 gift or gas card. He was trying to confirm my address and it was several years old (I move a lot).  I hung up.

I've gotten numerous calls from this number.  I don't even let the person speak I just tell them to remove my name and number from the list.  They keep calling.

I don't even anser anymore.

I've received calls from this # before. Same foriegn accent. I spoke with him for over 20 mins this time. He just kept asking me the same informatino over and over until he finally ended the call. He wanted to send me free gas card in the mail but needed to charge me the 1.95 for shipping. I told him if it was free and he already had my info, then why did he need to talk with me, just send it..  then he said he had to verify info.  said something about trusting him, so I turned the tables and told him That I can't trust him cause he's just a voice over the phone.  He could not give me any information that I could verifiy on a website or a phone # to call him back on. He just kept comming back to the same script about needint to verify information.
