Same thing just happened to me.  The charge showed up yesterday (still pending) on a card that I hardly ever use.  So I did some research and found the same website/phone number that's listed here.  Did anyone else think that the woman on the answering machine had a Russian accent?

Forgot to add that my charge was also $4.56, I'm in Texas, and I saw in one of the other posts that I skipped, initially, that the company is, indeed, somehow linked to a Russian crime syndicate.

PLEASE REPORT THESE CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY!  DO NOT CONTACT EASTCOASTMOBILESTYLE FOR A REFUND!

I haven't actually received a phone call...yet...but I did have a charge 04/06/09 of $4.56 to my checking account.  This was unauthorized and is therefore illegal.  I have submitted a complaint to the FTC, IC3, FBI, and to the local Sheriff office. Hopefully this will end soon and the company or persons to blame for this will be fined and put away.

Same deal.....$4.56 to Eastcoastmobilestyle 912 289 0124GA.Chase negated the charge but cannot tell me to who/whom the charge was to paid.Seems to me that if I had authorized a payment the credit card company should be able to tell me who they were authorizing payment to.Simple procedure.
"We are authorizing payment to account number such and such".
Have a new card coming with new a new account number.Looked through my phone records and no such number was ever called or received.Looked through my accounts and mail and have no record of any anything happening on or around Feb 15 2009.
Seems to me this is a random hit with no authorization.
Chase kindly refunded the $4.56 but cannot tell me where or when this payment was authorized.
How can a company as large as Chase not know where they are sending a payment?
How can a small local bank not know where they are sending a payment?
Chase so far has without hesitation refunded the $4.56 but honestly if you were a dollar bill holding institution would you not be able to tell the sender of the dollar where he/she is sending it to?

Found a $4.56 charge from this company on my credit card bill.  I disputed it with the credit card company and got them to refund the charge.  After reading all the other complaints regarding the same company I also got a new credit card.

Checking my wireless credit card statement(visa) and noticed a $4.56 charge from eastcoastmobilestyle. I don't have the foggyest idea who or what this is except a violation of my supposedly secure information. Have contacted credit card about it but who do you report this to to bring the perpetrators to justice. Or me in the same room with them for 5 minutes, then I would handle it myself.

I also found a charge on my credit card for $4.56 that i did not recognize, and I almost decided to let it ride without disputing it, but then I thought that if it was fraudulent someone is making a killing off of people who don't stay on top of their finances.  I called the number on my online statement (912-289-0124)and got a voice recording of a women whom sounded of Oriental ethnicity, who redirected me to a website(also fraudulent).  I can't imagine how many people have had money stolen from their accounts like this.

This company charged my credit card $4.56.  When I called the number on my statement, 912-289-0124, I was referred to a website that doesn't exist (eastcoastmobile.net).  I have called my credit card company to dispute the charge and inform them of this scam.

The same problem happened to me; the thing is that I live in South America, and I just used my credit card online twice: to buy a computer in Dell, and in another secure site.
I don´t have a clue where this people got my credit card number...anyways, I just contacted my Bank and we are working, not just to get a refund, but to start an investigation.
Thanks to all the people that wrote here, because it realy helped me to understand what was happening.
    God bless you!

It happened to me also.  Wells Fargo card charged $4.56 on 4/16.  I received my statement and called the mentioned number.  The call was answered by an Asian sounding woman and referred me to an email address for customer service.
I immediately called my C/C company and reported it as fraud and had my cards reissued.  Thanks to all your posts.  I hope the authorities catch them.

I was charged $2.56 and reported it to my credit card company. I had my card canceled. This is definitely a fraud. Report it, get a new credit card, and spread the word.

Also, did anyone do business with Verizon Wireless right before the charge appeared on their statement?

Never been to America and would like to know where they got my details from - presume it must be from internet as no call was involved. $4.56 charged to my card by eastcoastmobilestyle. It was my card company who first alerted me and blocked further charges until they checked with me ,sending new card. I will be checking my statements much more closely!

I also received a charge on my account from this company and have never heard of them.  I have left four messages unsuccessfully and will be calling my bank tomorrow to get this resolved.

I check my account online everyday and saw a charge for $2.56 on my Mastercard check card. The business said East Coast Mobile Style. I wasn't aware of the company and couldn't recall purchasing anything for that amount.  I went to my bank and told them about the transaction.  I had to cancel my card and get a replacement. I am disputing the charge and hopefully, eventhough it is such a small amount, will be reimbursed. I have no idea how they received my information but I guess if they want it they'll get it. People today suck!

Well, I've joined the ranks.  Same thing happened to me.  I found a $2.56 charge on my Visa credit card, and didn't recognize the name either.  So I called the phone number given and got a recording.  Then called my c.c. company to dispute it.  They will issue me a new card.  Best advice is to check your statements regularly!

Received a fraudulent charge of $6.56 on my credit card account.  Called the bank and had to close my credit card account and get a new card.  Bank said they wouldn't do anything other than refuse the charge.  Seems a travesty that nobody will prosecute these thugs that process these fraudulent charges.

Cancel your credit card and get a new one. That's what I did. East Coast Mobile Style has our credit card info and can make other charges later. Especially on the cards where the owners don't take action. They will make a larger charge if they got away with the $4.56 charge.
