You hear an instant beep upon answering, which is indicative of an automated system connecting you with a live representative... basically this company is most likely fishing for Active phone numbers so they can sell that info to other scam companies. Claimed to be representing a security company I've never heard of. Unfortunately, even if you hang up on them, the damage has already most likely been done by simply answering the call this confirming that your number is active and in use.

Answered phone and got a tone signal and then disconnect. I called back. Finally answered home security. Apparently this IS either a home security spam room or a scamm. I talked with two different people on two different call backs. Apparently no one wants to talk to you about a home security as they get off the phone very fast. I would think that if the call was real someone would want to talk to you and perhaps sell you a system. NOT THE CASE HERE. NOT WILLING TO TALK AT ALL.  I therefore rate this call as a scamm.SCAMM! BLOCK NUMBER.

A woman on the other end said my husband was involved in a serious car accident and the hospital needs payment before they can do emergency care. She said the hospital is also willing to accept iTune cards as well for payment. I didn't know what to do until I remembered his life insurance policy so I hung up then turned my phone off. But an hour later he came home and denied any accident and said most likely it was a scam.

"most likely it was a scam"? Really?! A supposed hospital is willing to accept iTunes cards and your husband isn't sure it's a scam?! That's not even taking into consideration the fact no hospital would ask for payment - of any sort - before treating a patient.

Uh, what good would his life insurance do to pay the hospital now? Oh, wait, I see you rememberd it then hung up on them so I guess you figured if he dies, you'll collect on his policy, huh? Were you disappointed when he came home uninjured?

They call for two security companies. After 35 calls I went through there sales pitch and had them send someone to install it.when he arrived I told him i didn't want it and to stop calling me.that was a month ago and they have called 6 more times.also at 40 dollars a month that's 480 a year for camera. You can  buy your own for half that.the one they have is a cheap one.
