i also have been receiving these calls and when i began asking questions i was either transferred, or spoken to rudely. I am in the process of reporting this to the FTC but am wondering what category it would fall under?

someone named kevin anderson called and said i was going to regret not giving them information. Reported to local law enforcement do not give them any information.

This number is a scam people !!!!

I am so glad that I am not alone...At first they scared me to death saying that I was going to be arrested and I was like what did I do and all they would tell me is that it was check fraud and I was going to be arrested and asked me the same questions that I see they asked everyone else. This is just plain harrassment I knew that I had no outstanding debt with anyone.

I just recv'd a phone call from these idiots stating that I had an outstanding loan due out and that I had to send them $300.00 right away or I was going to be arrested the next day...then when I found tjis site & was reading the different posts I called tham back & told them I was contacting the authorities...he said don't worry about the money...How do we put a stop to these idiots...somebody tell me please!

I also received called from Sam Taylor stating they are a law firm going to arrest me because of money that I supposedly owe a payday facility I asked which one but now to think of it I have already paid these people.  I will be asking them for other info.  But when you ask they say Advance Cash who owns all the payday places.  I am so sick of these scammers.  They have another thing coming.  They also ask if you go buy a money oak card to put this money on but why should you do that for a law firm.
