- Happyho**COMENITY BANK- A DEBT COLLECTOR
Marie Del**** - they looking for you Girl! Watchout- they're giving out your---
Social Security Number ; Date of Birth ; Husband's Name; Last known Mailing Address.
It is Comenity Bank- a bill collector. They will call you all day long from dozens of different numbers.......I have approx 32 diff numbers (just in the last two mos) where they repeatedly call from different debt collection call centers around the country.
They use "Trunk Lines" from the Call Centers so you can't block one particular ph number (like an 800 ph number) so the calls all register as different- like extensions. One call center can house hundreds if not thousands of different ph numbers.
**** I know this because I've been there ******
They collect on many different past due retail accounts- when you call them back the list of companies for you to coose from is amazing!
** I don't personally owe them a dime, but even after I told them they have the wrong person/number, they have continued to call me in error. So, fudge 'em. I screw with them every single, time I can.
* When I don't have that line on mute- I will play them pre-recorded weird noises or sounds. I've even tried randomly start cussing like I have tourettes a few times- GET CREATIVE! ........now THAT usually works for them to stop calls for a day or so.
Anyway- they are a HUGE pain in the [***] debt collector. If you have the time to entertain them, it can be very amusing.
And you know- you are providing employment to someone- even if it's the a$$holes at Comenity Bank.- Caller: Comenity Bank

- kandiThis number calls at least 4 times s day and never leaves a message. Annoying!
- David Stone| 1 replyThey call up to 20 times a day from over 50 different numbers. Calls start at exactly 8am and last until about 8:30pm. This is what I did..
1) House phone: Bought a 1000 number call blocker from amazon.com
2) Cell phones: Turned on the do not disturb feature on all 3 of my cell phones from 6am to 12pm: Only important people can get through!
3) Cell phones: Turned on the "block unknown/caller id withheld" feature so my phone wont ring when I receive unknown/blocked numbers!
4) cell phones: Download a silent ringtone to your phone and save all the debt collector numbers to a contact called "Block List 001". Assign the silent ringtone to Block list 001. Everytime you get a call google it, if its a debt collector or telemarketer then assign it to the Block List 001 contact. If you fill the maximum phone numbers in Block List 001 then create Block list 002, Block List 003 etc...
Works on ios (apple), android and windows phones. The best part is you can save and send contacts between phones!! I've even sent my block list contacts to my family members!! When you change phones its easy to import your contacts...- Caller: commetity bank

- stacy replies to David StoneWell that was detailed and helpful. If I had a phone that could do all that, I would. They have the right person, I've just fallen on a very difficult time and can't do anything about it, as quickly as they want right now. They'll get what I owe them but it's keep the lights and wifi going or I don't work and everyone gets nothing. I use the silent feature, but I can't block them from calling. It is what it is. What can I tell ya? Thanks for the advice!
- There oughtta be a lawGet calls from these people CONSTANTLY. Have never dared pick up, because (a) I don't owe anybody any money, so they can't be calling for me and (b) I've heard that if you DO pickup, they'll just call even MORE. On the rare occasions in the past when one of these lame debt collectors leaves a message, it's always either (a) for somebody I've never heard of, or (b) for my wife's deadbeat ex-husband, whom she divorced FIFTEEN years ago!. The calls keep alternating between "Sonitrol" @ 614-212-5287, "Quality Technol" @913-312-3304, "Premiere Conf" @ 913-312-3216, and "Comenity" @ 303-255-5351; I'm sure they're all the same company.

- SnowfleeThese people have no clue. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I applied for a line of credit through one of their many credit outlets, and decided not to follow through with the line of credit, and they continue to insist I am still responsible for the loan.
As of today Consumer Affairs and the FDIC is investigating them to find out why they are coming after me when I have no financial responsibility with them.- Caller: Comenity Bank

- wowThese people are insistent on calling my phone. I don't owe them a dime. Even if I say they are calling the wrong person, they should not be allowed to call my phone number and bother all day/night. Is there a pending lawsuit on their continued harassment. Anyone, Please direct me to how I get added to this class action lawsuit.
