call from 913 563-5510, said,"this is not a sales call please hold on". after 30 seconds they come on and say hello. after i say hello, they will not respond. i have gotten real angry with this outfit but they keep calling for kimberly parker(not her number). real [***]!!!

Never had a cc with these people, yet they wanted my SSN etc. to open my new account, and they were Indian with a very hard to understand at times dialect.

This company repeatedly calls me and wakes me up. I have stated several times I work nights and sleep during the day.  They won't stop calling unless I verify my address. I feel  my name and phone number should be verification enough. I don't care what company this is, the fact that I state I work all night and sleep in the daytime should be sufficient enough for them to stop calling me during the daytime hours!

Put the number in your contacts, assign a name to it then have all calls go to voicemail.

Calls repeatedly, and if their number is blocked, they use another number.  They refuse to leave voice mail or phone messages.  If it's important enough, they need to leave a message.  I don't have any business dealings with the company attached to this number, so I refuse to answer their calls unless they leave a message.  They can call all they want..I'll just keep blocking until they leave a message identifying themselves and what they want.

On Sept. 8, 2015 the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) announced consent agreements entered into Sept. 4, 2015, with Comenity Bank and Comenity Capital Bank, which are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Comenity, LLC, for deceptive practices related to the marketing and servicing of credit card “add-on” products” in violation of Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act. As part of the settlement, the banks agreed to correct violations of law, ensure future compliance, and implement a comprehensive restitution plan for all consumers adversely impacted by the violations that occurred between January 2008 and September 2014, according to the FDIC.

Consumers who are eligible for relief under the settlement are not required to take any action to receive restitution. Comenity Bank will pay a $2 million civil penalty and approximately $53 million in restitution to harmed consumers; and Comenity Capital Bank will pay a $450,000 civil penalty and approximately $8.5 million in restitution to harmed consumers, according to the FDIC.

The banks offer credit cards through various retailers nationwide that are typically co-branded with these retailers. For these cards, the banks offer “Account Assure” and “Account Assure Pro,” which are payment protection/debt cancellation add-on products to the credit cards, which allow consumers who
enroll to request certain benefit payments following specific life events including, but not limited to, involuntary unemployment and disability, according to the FDIC.
Tge FDIC determined that the banks, among other things:

- Represented to consumers that they would not be charged a fee for the products, if their accounts had no balances, but charged fees to consumers in those circumstances

- Made material misrepresentations and omissions regarding the refund process applicable to consumers’ cancellations of the products within the first 30 days of enrollment.

- Made material misrepresentations and omissions regarding the conditions for receipt of the gift cards or account statement credits offered as incentives for enrolling in the products.

Up to 10 calls a day from Comenity, starting at 0800 hours until 2100 hours. I do not have any of their credit cards. I have one credit card and it's paid on time. Isn't harassment against the law, should they get some jail time? I am tired of blocking all their numbers.

Robo-Called 2 times in 1 minute, repeatedly. Has been going on for a week. That is harassment and is illegal. Am on the Do Not Call list. Reported. Blocked.

This is the 88th number used by Comenity Bank.  They have called 349 times since 3/28/19.  Some of their numbers have complaints from 10 years ago and for different finance firms.  They issue private label credit cards for companies such as Victoria's Secret, Abercrombie, The Limited, et.al.  (a 3 page list was posted for 614-212-5291 by Tori on 6/4/2014).  We don't have any delinquent debts, have not had any credit cards cancelled, have not received any collection letters, and have not been sued.
