    This Company is calling on behalf of Blair which is a catalog mail order company.  They call our house non-stop from exactly 8:00 am until exactly 9:00 am.  I do have a Blair account and am paying the bills monthly.  I have actually talked to these people to get them to stop calling.  I have informed them that I paying the bills and I am paying the amount on my statement.  They then inform me that the amount I said I paid is not enough.  They then quickly offer to do a check over the phone for what they say I should be paying.  I have also informed them that they can continue to harrass me if they want but I will continue to pay my account through the billing statements I receive in the mail.  These people are not the least bit friendly and are VERY RUDE!!!!!!!!!  I explained that yes I was behind recently on this account but my Husband had been out of work.  He had only worked a total of about 2 1/2 months since October of 2007.  They then informed me that was no reason to be delinquent.  I then told them that making sure I had a roof over my head, utilities and food was far more important to me at that time than Blair.  Apparantly, this collection agencies just figure if they harrass you enough you will finally just give in and pay them to stop the calls.  You can't pay somebody money you don't have.

    They call several times a day. I have never used this company and I would never do it now.  We have asked thim not to call. This is our phone number not whom ever they are trying to reach. We have explained and still they persest and are quite rude.

    I keep receiving calls from phone # 913-563-5550.  They are calling me almost every 3 hours throughout the day.  They don't leave a message.

    I am getting about 10 calls a day from this number.  When I am home and answer no one is on the line.  These phone calls come in on Saturday and Sunday as well starting early in the morning

    they call ask for a name - they say its a personal business matter. when you call number back they ask to verify information by giving last four digits of social security number.  ( who in there right mind is going to give that out) They call constantly.

    They called today Sunday at 3.00 PM.  When I amswered there was no one there. They called back as soon as I hung up, but again when I answered the phone, no one was there. This went on for approx. 8 times. Since I have caller ID, I decided to call the number that was showing on my phone.
    It was some World Financial, I failed to understand the rest, so I waited but all I got was someone asking me to give them my social security number or account number. How ridiculous can they be. I am not about to provide someone with that information unless I know them and have reason of my own to do so.

    Tips for Handling Telemarketers


    Three Little Words That Work !!


    (1)The three little words are: 'Hold On, Please...'


    Saying this, while putting down your phone and walking off (instead of
    hanging-up immediately) would make each telemarketing call so much more
    time-consuming that boiler room sales would grind to a halt.

    Then when you eventually hear the phone company's 'beep-beep-beep' tone, you
    know it's time to go back and hang up your handset, which has efficiently
    completed its task.

    These three little words will help eliminate telephone soliciting.

    (2) Do you ever get those annoying phone calls with no one on the other end?

    This is a telemarketing technique where a machine makes phone calls and records
    the time of day when a person answers the phone.

    This technique is used to determine the best time of day for a 'real' sales
    person to call back and get someone at home.

    What you can do after answering, if you notice there is no one there, is to
    immediately start hitting your # button on the phone, 6 or 7 times, as
    quickly as possible This confuses the machine that dialed the call and it
    kicks your number out of their system. Gosh, what a shame not to have your name
    in their system any longer !!!

    This company calls at least 6 times a day, and if I answer and hang up they wait 7 minutes and call back. It is very annoying and I have even tried playing really loud music into the phone. I am on a DO NOT CALL LIST so why do they keep calling WFCB 913-563-5550. They start after 8am to 9pm 7 days a week!

    They call my work place to my direct extension and hang up each time I answer. Sometimes more than once a day.

    TIRED...
    They sometimes leave a message which is scratchy and distorted that leaves a call back telephone number (starts with 866) that I can't hear.  There is a continuious beeping in the line the entire time of the message as well. They do not say who they are or what they want.  I do not have any accounts with World Financial Bank...??? - I've never heard of them  How can I get them to stop calling??  Some days they don't call, but other days they do.  It is very weird.

    They call all hours of the day and night---and I mean ALL!!!! They also never leave a message...the other information on here says they are a collection agency for Blair---I have never ordered anything from that company...never got a catalog from that company etc...so why am I being hassled???

    I had numerous calls from this number with no one on the other end. When my husband answered and got someone on the phone they would not talk to him and hung up.  This went on all day and on the last call someone was actually on the other end. Rude, arrogant and wanting money over the phone.  Apparently HSN (home shopping network) credit cards were sold to another credit card company and there have been numerous problems around this 'sale.'

    World Financial Credit is now the new credit card Home Shopping Network is using - they are rude and unreasonable.   A total disappointment that HSN has gone to this company from their previous vendor.  I suggest you advise Blair or HSN or whomever they are holding your account with of your distain for this company and their business practices.  I know I am -
