A gentleman with a foreign accent, obviously reading from a script, calling to tell me that my recent loan application has been accepted.  I have not submitted any loan application.

I got the same call an Indian sounding guy who said I had been approved for a $5000 loan from the Speedy Cash Loan Corporation and to call  back to finish my application.  I never applied though.  Scammers!!

This foreign POS left me like 5 messages today saying I was approved for a loan, which I never applied for, and I'm not sure how he got my number. When I called him back and asked if someone was applying for a loan in my name, he said, "How the hell should I know!". I asked him for the name of his company and he told me to f*** off!

I received the same call but i had just put in a request for my first online loan so i could get the help i needed to move my family out of a bad neighborhood. I was so thankful that i took my last 110 dollars and put it on the moneygram prepaid card. i callef the man back and gave him the number he put me on hold for 10 mins until i hung up and called moneygram and found out my money was gone and i begged the customer rep to please stop the transaction. As im crying and pleading she says call the police and hung up.  I CALLED SPEEDY CASH AND THEY SAID THEY NEVER  APPROVED MY LOAN I EVEN PRINTED AND TOOK THE PAPER WORK IN PRAYING I WAS WRONG. I WILL NEVER USE ONLINE LOANS AGAIN. AND I HOPE THE POLICE FIND THAT [***] AND PUT HIM UNDER THE DAMN JAIL!!!!!!!!!#

Unfortunately you have learned a lesson the hard way.  What is even worse is that now you are on their "easy marks" list and will receive more calls, probably from criminals masquerading as debt collectors telling you that you owe money for a non existent loan.  Advance fee loans, which is what this is, are illegal everywhere in the US.

Things to remember about loans offered by phone or e-mail:  (Pay  attention to item #4!)

Loans
1.    No reputable lender will lend you money over   the   phone.
2.    No reputable lender will lend you money by e-mail
3.    On-line lenders are nothing more than conduits for another loan scam.
4.    Advance fees for loans are always illegal.    At  least in   most    American states.
5.    If   you want to borrow money,   go to an established brick and mortar   lender that has been around awhile.
6.    If you receive a call from someone with an Indian accent either a.  threatening you or b.  offering you something, you know it’s a scam and you should hang up immediately.
7.    These people are predators, the calls are not random, they have information that they have bought from various sources and know your financial history.  If you have ever taken out a pay-day loan, they have all your information.  They know who they are calling.  They like to pick on women, single mothers, the elderly and sometimes  members of the immigrant community.   Also,  those who might be in financial difficulty.

They are such liers i waited to get help but took my 300 dollars never to hear from them and no im out on the streets because i could not pay my rent im goibg to die
