These folks just called saying they had an aggravated complaint that they were about to file against me and there was a case number. When I asked who they were representing they transferred me to a "Legal Divison". When I asked what company she was with, she didn't answer. She kept referring to it as a criminal complaint and mentioned the word fraud several times. When I inquired which law enforcement agency they were investigating on behalf of (like a county attorney) she told me the "State's Attorney". When I questioned if she meant the Attorney General for the state? She got frustrated with me. When I asked for their address, she gave me a number and a highway....so I asked her what town and she said "Kansas!". Then, angry with me at this point, she yelled out some numbers and information (I don't even know what she was trying communicate) and told me to get myself down to my local sheriff department within a couple hours and I could voluntarily submit myself for service and hung up. WTF???

Common scam.  They pretend to be in law enforcement in some capacity.  Usually say there are criminal 'charges' against you and  that sort of nonsense.  It's a load of rubbish.  If you were the subject of a criminal complaint you'd be aware of it from face-to-face meetings with law enforcement officers.  This is an attempt to collect a debt by threatening criminal process. Basically they are attempting to scare money out of you.  Ignore and block the calls. This is strictly against the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  You should contact your local law enforcement about this, since someone is impersonating a public official.

(913) 871-5893 called me today sayin there was a felony warrant out for my arrest. When questioned I was hung up on.

I also questioned  the girl that called and ask for someone other than me. I told  them that no one by that name owns this phone
She replied fine I will refer it to local authorities.  She hung up quickly

These people are calling everyone associated with me or anybody that may possibly be associated with me and making threats of bringing felony charges for some unknown charge and they are too stupid to know that there are no charges that can be brought against anybody after 7 years like whatever it is other than murder rape and kidnapping sounds like a bunch of scam artists to me trying to extort money from people

Received a call from this number saying I had been listed as an emergency contact and needed to call immediately regarding the health emergency of "Manuel".

I was called by some some calling them self Corney?.I was told that a f/warrant will be issued on me,on the 04/13/2016 for bank fraud if don't pay 678.75 by today,i was to go to walmart and get the blue and white form,and fill the form out to WSAP/#15062.??and whats crazy i was upset at first,WOW me.I was told that GBI was investigating this matter.

Some lady name Amanda called and stated I need to return her call as soon as possible.  First of all, she contacted my sister-in-law.  They have over stepped their boundaries by contacting my sister-in-law really?????????????????? I let them have it but I could only get a few words in before I got  a "hang up".  Don't ever call my family members and how do they get these phone numbers.  I am so tired of these scammers or whoever they are supposed to be!
