Caller ID says "MOD".  They leave no message.

I call back after hours (using *67 to block my number).  Their recorded message identifies them as the "March of Dimes".  You are offered the option to press 1 for additional info.  That provides a message about what they do.  At the end of this is an option to be placed on their Do-Not-Call list (I never do this as it can make things worse).

This is likely a hired-gun telemarketing firm for calling on behalf of MoD.  If you wish to give, please, contact MoD directly.  That way the annoying telemarketer gets no cut of your donation.

I briefly looked at the criticism section of their wikipedia page.  That alone was enough for me to consider donating to a different charity.

MOD telemarketer is becoming a real nuisance. Everyday they call from different Yonkers, NY numbers.

Have had three calls from this general exchange (914-294) in three days, but they change the last several digits so blocking one number won't block the calls. Apparently "MOD" stands for March of Dimes, and I'll bet they want money...whaddaya think?

Some call blockers can also block entire exchanges within an area code.

Don't be shy about also posting verifiable business addresses and phone numbers that are given by the Better Business Bureau. It's one of the things they do right.

They also allow some employees to work from their homes. I wonder if this means that employee's work-at-home phone number shows up on the Caller ID of those called.

Got the call, but didn't hear it as call was blocked, GREAT!

Repeat MOD telemarketer. Didn't answer.
