I get calls from that number all the time.  ALL THE TIME.  It annoys me because I have given to the March of Dimes on behalf of friends who walk in the March for Babies.  I get calls from them in the same week I give.  

I did call back and choose #1 like the pp suggested, so I hope they do take me off their list... It did say it would take up to 30 days to process, however.

This number calls every day. Does not leave a message. I have even answered the phone and said hello twice before I hang up. To me that means that a computer is calling my number and the person is not expecting someone to answer. I am on the do not call registry. I know no one in Yonkers let alone in New York.

They've called a number of times - different days and times. I NEVER answer as the number doesn't belong to anyone I know or deal with. They NEVER leave a message. They NEED to stop calling.

Call came in at 5:24, answered and no one was there.

The real trick is to figure out what people on this message board have in common in order to find out what other "organization" sold all of our personal info to these people.  Odd that this "organization" has not fixed this intrusion and allowed this nuisance calls to go on.  

My guess - prior donations to police and fire local / regional.....

Call the national headquarters and complain 914-997-4488 they will remove your number within 24 hours.

I called the number back, got a recording telling me they had "tried to reach me earlier on behalf of March of Dimes, were sorry they'd missed me, and would try again later".  I  pressed "#1" to try and add myself to their Do Not Call list (like someone else's post suggested) but it just hung up on me.  Argh!

I am registered on the Do Not Call List.  If they call again, I'm going to report them.

What is this? Originally got a request that I thought was from the March of Dimes to solicit by mail my neighbors. I agreed to this. Little did I know this was from Donor Care Center. This was over two weeks ago and since then they have called at least 2 times a day (AM and PM). It's driving me crazy!! Who are these people??

Donor Care Center has called me three to four times a day for the past three weeks.  The calls start at 9am and end at 9pm.  When I see that it is them, I do not answer my phone.  I am on the Do Not Call list but somehow they choose to ignore my request to not be called.  What would they say if I harassed them by calling them as much as they call me?  PLEASE STOP CALLING ME!!

Im on the no call list. they called and I picked up the phone after the 2nd ring and I could hear some one talking way in the back ground. but could not understand them. to faint. the no call list isn't working for me at all. I am handycaped and have a hard time getting to the phone.
I have one, two or three calls a day from different sales people.
I feel like hunting them down  one at a time, and getting even with their nonsence.

This number calls our home several times a day, several days a week.  Very annoying, to be sure.

Calls & no message left on answering machine, but the caller ID had the number & I was able to call block it with our Verizon phone service. We are also on the do not call registry.

phone rang 5 times I am crippled and cant get to the phon on time, called twice yesterday and once this morning.

donor care center 914-513-2859 called again at 8:45 this evening this makes over 8 times that they have called. they call once or twice every day for the last week. when I answer the phone they hang up?????
am on the no call list. buta makes no difference. as stated before I am handycaped and have a hard time getting to the phone.
there should be a law against them herassing a handycaped person.
will be calling the police, but they probably wont do anything.
