This was a sales call for a walk-in tub. I spoke with the sales rep and was interested in the product, but asked how much the product cost. The rep said they couldn't give us a price without coming into our home.  I asked that without a price, we did not want them coming into our home, and if they could not give us a price to have us removed from their calling list.  The rep said that she WOULD call back tomorrow.  I repeated that without knowing a price we did not want to have someone coming into our home.  The rep then hung up on me without confirming that our phone number was removed from the list.

If you did not ask for them to call you, then it is best to stay away from outfits that cold call to sell things.  Especially if you are on the DNC, since they just violated it.

Answered the phone, said hello several times. Finally said hello, stupid person who can not answer. Called me a bit h and hung up.

Rude little so and so...did not like it when I asked who was calling...may they find another calling!!!  Lol

Keep calling sometimes three times a day different hours

This number 915-217-6716 called me yesterday saying they were with Bath Fitters and would come by and show me and my husband a walk in tub.   I called three times today to cancel, the voice mail is full, so can not leave a message for cancellation of appointment.  The name used for the salesman was Tom Hammer.   I reported it to the telephone company, but there is not much they can do, also local police which they have at this time committed no crime.   So, that is my story.  The appointment was for tonight, after normal working hours.   This makes me nervous.  I need to be more aware and not answer calls where I do not recognize the number.  My mistake.  Oh, yes,  I contacted Bath fitters and Premier Bath and neither one had an appointment scheduled for me.

Must be the rotation of numbers for the month.  I really think these companies USE the no call list for valid numbers because the feds are not going to enforce anything unless - well - you know.

called twice yesterday, 10 minutes apart...no message

Those of you that let the calls roll to your answering machine, voicemail or worse yet answered the call you have just ensured you will receive more of these calls.  Maybe not from the same number, but they’ve just identified your number as valid which assures more calls of these 'faux telemarketer calls'.  (I call them faux telemarketer calls as they are generally not legitimate telemarketers, but simply scams!)  Most of the initial calls originate from software (aka; ‘robocalls’) – once your number is identified as active, then a real person may be there on the follow up calls.  The majority of the calls are from a 'spoofed' number therefore the area code, exchange or even the entire number displayed on your caller ID probably does not accurately reflect the origin of a call.
If you have the capability to ‘BLOCK’ the number that called – that is the best action.  Since 2010 I have logged and currently block nearly 600 of these nuisance calls.
If you don’t have a blocking option, keep a phone with caller ID close by and simply hit ‘talk’ and ‘off’ simultaneously.  This will reduce the number of nuisance calls, but not stop them.
If you really want to block them – in addition to a number of cordless phones available there is software that a layman can install.  Of the over 500 calls I’ve blocked, I've only added 16 over the last 3 months.  (Most of those are from a new series of numbers that were not previously blocked)
So the message is simple – blocking works….  Using the aforementioned processes I seldom have a second call from a given number.  But, when I do - I love it when "Number Blocked" shows on my 'Caller ID!!!  (When they call repeatedly it causes me to wonder about how stupid some of these dummies really are!)
PS:  I think Call Notes should add a 'Call Type' for 'Spoof' or 'Scammer Calls'!

Called from 915-217-6716. Normally I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize. Decided to answer the call. The caller started to talk but connection was garbled. So I stopped him, I told him it was garbled, if it was a solicitation, I did not take solicitations over the phone, so please remove my name from his list. I really could not understand anything., so it was probably a telemarketer.

Got my first 2 call from 915 217 6716 I had to call back friends in Texas but the box was full located friends their OK . so this is what I get to look forward to

Texas call for weeks on end.    answere today and man answered. Farted in phone and told him I don't have any money.  He said he wasn't asking for any. He went on to talk about giving homeowners a discount on a free evaluation for a walk in shower program. and that someone would be around about 3 to 6 pm if I could be put on the scheldule.  told him I don't have any money.  said he wasn't asking for any.  And that I don't have time for anyone that I don't know coming onto my property.  He hung up.   Texas Call 1-915-217-6716  Everyone call him up and fart in the phone.

I guess this should be expected, our entire government is corrupt.  That's why they allow these calls.

Call automatically blocked by my phone system as a robo call. Caller ID said "Wireless Caller".

I didn't answer - but they left a partial message .. and they used my name.  I don't like that .. where did they get it .. arrghhhh  BLOCKED

Man trying to sell walk-in tubs - kept right on talking, giving his hard-sell sales pitch, when I told him I was on Do Not Call list and to remove me from his calling list. Hung up on him, since he wouldn't shut up.

The way I see it, people not bothering to respect or check the do not call list are at worst criminal scammers and at best won't respect anyone foolish enough to do business with them.

Didn't answer; 915-217-6716 because it is out of area. "Independent Safety Bath & Shower" pitching a walk in tub.  Medium spam according to white Pages. I will also report to FTC.

They just call and call and call. Finally answered but I said nothing.  I finally yelled hello and he hung up.  Adding to block list. Unfortunately I can only block 30 on my Panasonic cordless so I have to roll them out and then in with a new number.  Love the phone though as it connects to my cell phones (up to 2) also!  Anyway tired of these [***].
