Left msj indicating suspicious use of "social"; instructs to press 1 to speak to an officer.  No name or agency indicated in the msj

The message is about problem with "social" and that it would be taken and to speak to an officer, allegedly Dept of Justice. They asked me for my name to "pull up the record " and I answered you called me , you have my name and automatically hung up.Accent of the man is sort of British.

Called and say something about suspicious activity on my social media accounts to press 1 to speak with an officer I blocked the number from my phone.

ALLEGE CALL FROM SOCIAL SECURITY

Just called me. I didn't answer but left mess with instructions like "Press #1", etc.

It seems like a fraudulent call.  They say they are from social security.  But when you question them about who really is who is calling and asking for information, they cut the call

It IS a fraudulent call. The Social Security Administration doesn't initiate contac by phone but by US mail. Nor would they hang up on you if you ask questions. Block and ignore such calls if you can.
