This number keeps calling my cell stating they are attorneys. Can't even speak english. I wanted to report this number. I am sure they are scammers

Same here!! They say that you have a legal action pending against you and you need to contact an attorney named Mike Anderson to help you. What can you do?

I got a call from this number as well....stating they were law firm john Wilson was the name given but didn't speak with an understandable accent. Said they needed social security number to verify it is me and they needed to hear from me or my lawyer and if not good luck to me as this proceeds and may God bless me

I got a call from this number stating they were Officer ___ could not understand with there accent, but I had legal charges. I just called the number back no voicemail setup just rings and then beeps.  SCAM in my eyes!!

This number just called me too!  2:45 PM PST - Could not understand the accent.  He said his name was James Nelson, and not to avoid this call, and that they have a legal action against me, and that I need to not disregard the call, and to have my attorney contact them, and that there was nothing that the could for the events that were about to unfold upon me and my family.  Same as OOSIRACER.  I had fallen in to this trap before and paid them over $800, and he wanted to wait on the phone while I got a reloadable card from wal-mart, and I did what he asked, but, turned out to be fraud.  Got my money back, but do not respond or fall for it.

This number called my cell phone and MY WORK claiming the same thing except the name he was using was Eric Brown and he had a horrible accent too!

I got the call to from this number and the name he used was Eric Brown with a very bad accent.   He called my cell and my work 3 days in a row with the same claim.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I just recieved a call from this number and had a voicemail from them.stating that I was being sued for recieving a loan and never paying it back which is completely false.I do ot even have credit to.get a loan.But I called and he stated if I wanted to.close the law suit I would have to pay $500.I am no fool and would not.do.it.So.he asked did I.still reside at the address given and I told him no and that I.use to and he said that is ok I have your ssn and can track you down and that the sheriff would be to arrest me in 6 hours.My mom came outside and told me to get his name and address and company.name and I was about to and he hung up.I.tried calling back and he will not.pick up.He will answer and hang up the phone.These people are scammers and need to be stopped.

I got a call from this number today and they hung up on me when I asked where they were calling from and that I didn't have a payday loan out like they were stating. After Alex Cooper and Nathan Brown kept hanging up on me and pressing numbers in my ear when I called back I knew that this was some SCAM and they were trying to get my SSN and MONEY but not from me.... I called them back and told them that I was giving there number to my local police and that they better not call me ever again cause you got the right one

I called back the # back & spoke to a gentleman asked if i was --- I confirmed, said he had a law suit against me for a payday loan & when it was time to pay I had no funds in my account. Said I never applied for one, he then read off my off SS # and asked if it belonged to me? I natually denied it and he started flipping out and cussing me out, said that the sheiff will be contacting me and coming to my job, and my home to arrest my ass, then hung up i called back he answer told me to wait for the sheriff to call, told him if i did default a loan its a civil matter not jail time dumbass! And a few moments later I had a call from 911 sounded like the same guy, saying he was coming to my home I said safe travels from CA to DE is a nice ride. Then the supposed officer cussed me out cause i corrected him as well, called my local county police station. The officer called said he was with --- police & he hung up. I am working with the police to track them down police have my phone records & working to find them.

They weren't threatning to me, I'm just pissed they have my info, S.O.B's!! If yoi catch em' update me on it, I'd like to find out, Who the HELL they are, I'd sure would like to slap em' around, I guess this is the price we pay as Americans messing with these foreigners, They have nothing better to do!! O.M.G, I didn't even wait for no cops, I know they were too scared and little phonys...Lmao!! Cowards, I wished I knew which sites are encrypted and safe to use, Nothing is secure anymore, Pfttt!!!

So hilarious they called both my fiance and I and left messages on both phones. They said I had a lawsuit and 3 allegations against me. And that they needed my email, drivers license, and ss# and I asked them how they got my info and he didnt say anything back. I had, had him on speakerphone and he told me to not put him on speakerphone without his permission and I proceeded to keep him on speakerphone lol. I also told him I dont have anything against me and he said than you can have fun when the cops arrive and then he hung up and I called the police and they said its a scam and that I didnt have anything against me. Its sad what they are doing.

I was just contacted by this number and the attorneys name was Alex Cross, but he spoke with a heavy accent and he couldn't even say my name right. He said that they were going to send the sheriffs to my place of employment and have me arrested and that I may lose my job as a result.  I just tried to call back and now they won't answer.

I asked them why they keep calling me and and how he got my info he said I love you  and then he said because he wants me to [***] and wants to [***] me.. My fiance was right there going off on him but when I asked him who is David foster he hung up the phone lol pathetic.

I got a call saying myself or my recent attorney needs to call back immediately bc I had serious legal action pending so I called numerous times and kept getting a voicemail that just beep so I thought it was suspicious so I googled the number and saw all these comments. He called again and I told him I was a marine which I was and I prob killed numerous cousins of his which I prob did and he got mad called me a [***] and hung up lol. It's def a scam guys don't freak out!

I got a call and a voice-mail from them saying that I am under investigation and being sued for a payday loan from Cash Advance. I let him know that is false and I have never received money from them. He then states my ss# and place of work saying they're coming for me. When I began to argue with him he says F you F you & hangs up. I call back to get name and place of business, He says law office of cooper, but my voice-mail said another name. Yes I was scared, but I put a alert on my  credit just in case. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS WHO CAN'T SPEAK ENGLISH & NEED TO BE STOPPED..!

THis guy "Mike Andrews" says that I am being sued. He said that he was trying to help me resolve this issue with his "client" which I had apparently received a loan from.
He said i needed to pay the loan amount, plus a $30 fee, and that I was not allowed to pay with any debit card linked to my checking account, or use my bank account because I was already in violation of Bank Law.OH and also told me that I would be arrested today if I did not pay them and resolve this issue...

SOOO i got all shook up & I checked my  bank account. THere was some type of check processing for $30.
the bank cant see yet who it is from because it is still processing.,

Anyways, I did get 2 loans from Shorline & Hydra Fund ll
each for $150. and I have confirmation from each that my due date for my first payment is 10/18
so that being said I had never received any loan from any other place. He insisted it was not a payday loan that i had received it was an advance and that I was supposed to pay it within 72 hours of its deposit...

THEN when he called back I told him I checked my bank account & didnt receive any other type of loan from cash advance usa. or anyother cash advance, he got loud with me, started yelling & said that cops were on their way & then hung up.

SomeoNe keep calling me but when I refuse to give them info he hung up. I called back and ask him who was he and he hung up.now he repeat lay calls and hang up.ima sue him if he keeps calling.
