Perhaps it would be best to go to you supervisor and explain what is happening to you so that they can offer support.  This is a form of blackmail that is being used.  It uses fear of loss for profit or gain.  They are indeed criminals and if the cops showed up,  they'd be the first to run and hide.   Don't let them bully you.

getting the last 4 of your ssn is not hard to do.  It seems like anymore,  everytime you talk to anyone, about anything,  they ask for your last 4.  The scammers use this to make you think that they really have your number.  Tell your boss up front that this guy is trying to scam you.  This will put you in a better position to justify your actions.  It also takes away his major threat.

Received this call from this number from an Indian guy at work today.  Really pissed off, especiall because about a month and a half ago I received the same call at home from a different number same man, can't remember that number though.  He was pissed last time we talked because I did collections before.  I asked him what was the name of the loan company, couldn't tell me, I asked the amount, he said $600, I asked him when it was deposited, he said anywhere from January to March. I said you don't know the exact day?.  He stated he didn't have that information in front of him.  I said legally if I request that information to be mailed you have to mail it to me, so do it.  He was highly upset and said fine he would and hung up.  He did have my bank information which worried me, however apparantly they can't just take money, they must have needed more info.  Well needless to say I never received documentation of this debt.  So when the same man calls me today from a different number, saying he was from the CIA... I stopped him short.....said I talked to you a month and a half ago and requested written verification of this debt, he said I didn't talk to him, I explained oh yes I did... and laughed, he said you think this is funny.....I said send it again.... he said i needed to contact his manager Mike Anderson at the above number, no answer just hangs up......don't let it bother you....just explain to those that need to know this scam is going around.

this # has called me at work several times over the last few weeks had my name but all the rest of the information was wrong claimed i had a payday loan then today called me with a case # and said if i didnt have a lawyer by monday they would be pressing charges had 3 charges against me but wouldnt tell me what they were im pi$$ed  said they were a paralegal from india... i tried to call back no answer so i kept trying to call and call eventually they hung up on me i was told to call and speak to an Attorney named Mike Anderson case # 207 smh glad my fiance was smart enough to look up the # and find all this

I just received a call at a job  on the same lines as everyone else. It was so hard understanding thie guy that I didn't know what the heck he was saying . He asked for my attoneys number becasue crimainal charges are being file against me. i asked for what he said to call Mike at 916-238-8478 and he will explaine everthing to you. I asked him why didn't Mike call me and why are you calling me at my job? He siad you better take care of this before you get arrested and again I asked for what? He would not give any info and siad i wish ou luck and hung up. This is so BS and i will not call Mike whoever the heck he is. If I owed anyone money that would have a least sent a bill in the mail or something. Just trying to figure out what the hell he was saying gave me a headache!

This phone number has been harrassing me today. I finally got sick and tired of it, and I called the local police. The cop took down all of the information, and called him. He was poking around, and "Julian Marshall" started cursing out the cop! The cop said to him that he is a scam! I hope this is the end of it!!

I received a call from this # yesterday October 27, 2012. First was a voicemail from a woman who identifies herself as Lisa Brown telling me if I don't call or have my attorney call back good luck with the legal windfall about to come down on me. I then call the # and get a male on the phone who claims to be at the courthouse right now and he is with the attorneys office and I am being sued and 3 charges including theft and check fraud have been filed against me because of some payday advance loan that I defaulted on. (Which I never had). When I told him he was mistaken he got angry and said good luck with the police that are coming to my door in 10min. I called my local police and they said to contact the state attorney generals office and file a complaint. I plan on doing this in the morning. Apparently these people haven't figured out that no courtroom in America is opened on a Saturday. I also saved the voicemail and recorded it on my cell and will forward that as well! These people are scammers and just trying to take advantage of people.
