Call to my cell. Loud call center background.  Car insurance from what I could make out.

Did not know number so didn’t answer

Spam Caller

Received a call - ID showed Sacramento CA - Middle Eastern accent asked to speak to Christopher (couldn't understand last name).  When I told him he had the wrong number he said "excuse me" so I repeated myself and he said "seriously" and hung up on me.  Blocked number.

Number is now being used by auto insurance scammers.  Indian accent.  Asked if they accept rupees in payment, they hung up.

A few missed calls; picked up and had an automessage saying "You will now be placed in conference.  You are the only caller in this conference."  Then it hung up on me after a few seconds.

I got a call from the same person today, Tory Lane, phone number 916-249-1162. Did not answer. My answering machine picked up; no message was left.

Did not answer the call myself. My answering machine picked up. No message was left.

No msg, blocked

Called.  Left no message.

This call was from "lower insurance rates.com", most likely a scammer, but definitely and illegal call - I have no legitimate business relationship with them and am on do not call lists. Reporting the call to the authorities.

Unfortunately, some of us do not have the option to leave calls unanswered - I received this call on a phone used to conduct business. Block the number, don't give out any information and move on. It's up to the telecoms and the government to find a way to cut down on this illicit activity, we should haven't to dramatically alter our lives and lose business out of fear of getting scam calls.

Spam caller selling car insurance.

They called during dinner, which means after business hours for my work schedule. No message left. No personal or business relationship with them. No need to call them back.

Blocking this number.

Every time I called this number back to inquire who was calling me repeatedly, I received something different! This is a SCAM! FRAUD! They will say they are a cc company, health insurance, that you won a free gift card or reward, etc...!!!  DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFO!!
Hang up immediately and block the number!! 😡😡😡😡

Kept "James Smith" on the phone for about 25 minutes, had the sales guy pretend (poorly) to be the manager after i requested a transfer. Asked about my current car insurance, I told the guy my wife just died in a car accident so i was without a vehicle. He then hung up. I called back and spoke to "David" this time. Threw on an accent myself until he asked about my insurance again. Then i told him my wife died and i was without a car again, they got FURIOUS. Followed by another 20 minutes of shouting. He didn't know much English, but boy did he know the curse words.

Do a google search on the aforementioned caller ID name. Hmmmmm.......strange. Maybe the number is spoofed.

I received a call from this number as well.I have true caller and this is a SCAM.please do not fall for this.You will get scammed out of money.TRUE CALLER  is free.So if you have apple iphone or android this is a free service.
