Same as above - Call on my cell phone and did not answer because I don't recognize the number.  I'm in the 916 area code so I think this is more advanced spoofing going on.

These are typically some "company," a group of people more like, that want to perform work that PG&E will reimburse them for. Weatherstripping etc. and also want to come out and look around your domicile. I don't want some strangers rooting around my home. My energy bills are quite low anyway. Told them a million times "not interested." Now they call and hang-up before the call goes to voice mail. I use AT&T CCS 'Call Screen' to block these numbers.  Empty my 10 number list when it gets full and start all over again, as these people keep changing tel. no's. But, it keeps the phone mostly quiet. Except the 8XX numbers.

By the way, these guys will drop the name of "PG&E" trying to sound legit, but they are not affiliated with the public utility in any way shape or form. So, don't call PG&E and complain. It's not PG&E doing the calling. But the callers will definitely try to imply that THEY ARE PG&E calling you! THEY AREN'T! They will try to get their foot in your door under the auspices of somehow being PG&E authorized representatives. They aren't.

I keep getting calls from this number, it says Sacramento Main DA, CA .  I don't answer, they don't leave a message.  Thanks for the info, i will block

Several unwanted calls.  Some sort of solicitation.  Can't call back to speak with person.  Only recording.

They are placing the same calls daily on my personal cell.  Both of my numbers are on Do Not Call registry. Reporting the calls make no difference.

Been there, I said nothing about not liking the 'laws of this country'.  What I indicated was that criminals don't care.  They do not follow the letter of the law.  They will keep on calling you and harassing you.  You will continue complaining.  Why don't you do something pro active like file a complaint to www.ftc.gov (option A), get a call block feature on your phone (Option B) or get rid of your landline entirely (Option C)?  What are your other options, complain that others don't like or are not obeying the law?  You can choose how to respond, Been There.

Get calls from this number all the time but after the first one I had Mr. Number added to my smart phone and after 1 ring it's blocked. They keep calling but I don't hear it. It's recorded as block number.

I missed a call from customer support

If you want to be angry at anybody, start with AT&T.  They already have installed the equipment to block these numbers--it costs them nothing to do that--but they refuse, because they make money renting phone lines to these illegal telemarketers.

What's interesting is most of the entire state of California is red on the map. But then we're forced to throw in the SF Bay Area and LA and that's where the libs are. I take personal offense at being stereo typed with a bunch of city folks for one, not to mention a bunch of tardo libs. So please check your facts before making a moronic statement like that. I bet you think California will fall off into the ocean too?
