received a call from Brandon Gabriel at 916-259-3085 and 916-469-1761. He said he was with the District Attorney's office, working for George Belosky. I verified this with him 3 times on the call. He even gave me his address which I googled and it is the address of the DA's office. He wanted me to "pay restitution" today or he was sending the cops to my office and arresting me via a warrant. When I asked several times what it was regarding he said that I knew what it was about. When I told him I wanted something in writing he said the only thing he could send was the warrant. Then he told me I would be in jail for a minimum of 9 months without release and he hung up on me. I called the actual DA's office and was told that they would not deal with anything in this manner. She said it's a scam and that they have no one on their personnel list with that name. FYI - he did tell me my SSN and bank information. I'm issuing a possible fraud alert on my credit w/ all 3 bureaus and changing my bank account. THE SAME TYPE OF CALL FROM THE PERSON DOWN BELOW.... I AM SO UPSET AND TIRED RECEIVING SPAM CALLS EVERY WEEK.....:(

I also applied for a payday loan online. Shortly thereafter, I started to recieve random numbers. This one in particular (916) 469-1761 called my work. The caller had an Indian accent and said his name was Troy Dalton. However, I didn't not acknowlege my name. So he left a message to call him back because it was urgent.

I just got the same call from the same guy Troy Dalton or Volten at work too. The # 9164291761 they are ruthless

I got a call from a Mr. Morrison 916 469-1761 who stated he was from the State Attorney Generals Office and he identified my last four of my social security number. He stated if I didn't call me he was going to file against me and proceed legally. I called back and it was a joke, they barley spoke any English very strong Iranian accent, they placed me on hold and some belly dancer music was playing. They picked up again "George" and he said he was from the civil and criminal unit for state attorney general office. SCAM, SCAM , SCAM. Now when I call this number back - it no longer works... These guys are rotten.........DO NOT FALL FOR THERE SCAM!!!!!!!!!

This man identified as a paralegal, and said " charges was filed on my ss." I then called the number given and was asked too many suspicious questions. I got smart and hung up. I called The State Attorney and they're too busy to take calls. But this SCAM answers immed, and can't speak good English. Relax, and ignore these idiats.

I git da same calls bout every 3 months telling me bout I need an attorney, never saying what da call bout, but dat a sheriff would b coming 2 arrest me.  This matter could b resolve by sending x amt.of dollars.I no this is a scam.what dey try 2 do is scare u into gittin a green dot card.1time dey repeated my ssn 2 me.but I normally hang upon dem. deez r foreigners calling this man dat always call is either Japanese r Chinese his english is very bad. It's really sad how ppls. R always coming up whit ways 2 scam hard workin ppls out dey hard earn mony.

These people are terrible!!  They are liars and this is just a huge scam!  They pretend like you are the bad guy while they are trying to scare you and rip you off!

I have been receiving calls from this number for the last couple of days. I was left a message saying he was from the Attorney Generals office and I needed to call back right away. So I did. I was told the same thing the rest of the people have reported. I did ask questions and after about 20 seconds I knew it was a scam. When I called him out on it he told me the Sheriffs would be at my home with in 30 minutes to arrest me and I would do 9 months in jail. At that point I had to laugh. I will help in any way to help catch this MORON and his little team of scammers!

got a call from this number about an hour ago  I did not answer it ! I never answer a number I do not  know and 2 today I happened to be working  in the yard any thing really important will leave a message sales scammers and pranks will  just hang up same for my cell

i received a call from a number of a guy saying hes from the district attorneys office. saying that i was going to get arrested with a warrant.i called back this number 916- 469 1761 v. The FBI Needs to do a raid on all these individuals posting websites with of payday loans. We give out out personal information and God only knows what they are doing. SOMEONE needs to get on this immediately!! Can we even change our SSN # ?

I was called too.  His name was Mark Brown from the State Attorney's Office (916.469.8865) and that I should call Earl Cantar at 916.469.1761 and was threatening me that I will soon be arrested and will spend 9 months in jail.  Also, they gave me the wrong last 4 digits of my social security number.  Who are these people?

Pissed off to hell called my work and stated I have to call 916-469-1761 and speak to District Attorney.  He said he was with the District Attorney's office, working for George Belosky. I verified this with him and when he tried to verify my SS# informed him it was wrong then asked for the correct one and the phone number from which he called me on. I informed him that I wouldn't give him eighter and to send something via mail or email as he had informed me he didn't need me to give him the information he had it infront of him and just wanted to verify it is correct. I called the phone number provided and the person on the other line asked me again to verify information in order to pull up my account.  once I informed them I was looking online and they are listed as a fraud and I plan to report this to the FTC they hung up on me.
