when i call back they hang up

Got this one too... late at night ...

916-469-2985 calls my phone multiple times per day.  My phone has a call block feature that transmits beep tones similar to a busy signal on any phone number that I select to block.  When I call back using SKYPE, the answering message identifies the company name is K B Fine.  These people are tenacious.  And why do I want to place a toll call which requires me to sit listening to thier stupid messages while I am waiting for somebody in thier call center to answer that does nothing but hang up the minute that I say "Please take this number off of your call list?"  Then they want to confirm my name, address and phone number.  When I refuse to give them any information and simply state "Stop calling this phone number or I will report you to the Attorney Generals office" the person hangs up.  This is a game for compiling live phone numbers and confirming peoples information so they can sell the information to another call list so that some other call center can keep soliciting.  This is harrassment!  And most likely it all comes from the same call center under different company names.  Where has high tech brought us?

I also get multiple calls from this number on my cell phone.  I usually do not answer the call, however, have answered and hung up when I realize the number.  I'm tired of them using my minutes. We need to report them for calling our do not call numbers.  They should be fined.

Sounds familiar. . .they call. . usually around dinner time, never answer the phone if you happen to answer, tho. . .and the one time I called them back, got the hold/message routine.  Just another SCAM. . .ignore, block, or do what you have to, but do NOT ANSWER.

Receive calls from this number on my cell and at home - but today they called my office! I am on the do not call registry but, as stated above, they ignore that list. The woman asked for me by name when I answered but I just hung up on her. The calls are getting ridiculous!

They keep calling me and I'm on the do not call list from company's trying to sell their products..

They called and I didn't answer. Another company calls from California too the name of the other pesky company is K design I don't know if they are affiliated.

This number has called me in the early afternoon for FOUR days in a row. What good is being on the Do Not Call list if it never gets enforced? I figured they would stop calling eventually, especially since I never answer, but I'm starting to doubt it. Reporting DNC list violations is absolutely useless, btw. They just send you a "sorry, but there's nothing we can do about it" letter a few weeks later. I'M SO SICK OF THIS CRAP.

Scam, most likely gang/organization run. If they know your name, they are phishing for information. Identity theft scum bags can go jump off a cliff.

And Rui, it's not wise to put your name on the internet, especially when it's a site scammers are constantly viewing.

Received a call from this number, I did not answer, they did not leave a message.  So I looked this number up and it appears to be some kind of a scam after reading all the messages from others saying they've been receiving multiple calls from 916-469-2985.  Disconnect this line!

They keep calling, they leave no message.

I also have got the message and its from K-Designers a solar company. Unwanted calls!

I got so many such kind of annoying calls to my iPhone and this one from 916-469-2985 is not an exception. From those mentally sick persons' call my inuition catched a sense of not anwereing it at all. Also, using silence ringtone features I set to my iPhone helps, even though those sick persons keep changing to new number to use, to bother people day and night.

Definately someone linked to K Designers. Within the last year after purchasing a window from them I have recieved many of these undesired calls that go nowhere. I hope there is something we can do to shut down phone scams like this one.

Call, call, call. no message. now I read it is an illegal call company looking for live numbers.

I just had a call where a lady got a call from this number stating she one the lottery and she needed to purchase a green dot card to pay insurance on Lottery winnings. THIS IS A SCAM!!! Please don't fall for this scam!!!

The Do Not Call Registry is useless.  It is not being enforced and the scammpers know this.  THey have 0% chnce of even being discovered, much less fined.  And, if when making a purchase at a retail outlest, and the clerk asks for your phone number, and you give it to them, you just negated the DNC registery.  Giving your phone number during a retail transaction or having it on your check give implicit permission for your information to be sold.
