I'm glad I looked this number up that just came in minutes ago. 916-469-6343. Same scenario as you. This guy has a really heavy accent and said somebody had charges against my ssi number and if I didn't call him back I would be arrested.
So I called him back and he answers the phone "Attorney Law Offices" ......So I asked who? I don't recognize that name, where are you located? The guy hung up on me......I think he knows people are getting wise to his little game LOL!

I actually applied for one of those pay day loans which is where I think he got my information, because he kinda sounds like someone else that said I qualified for a $5000.00 loan. I just had to send $247 dollars to get it.....Uh yea right....Wish I had not applied for that stupid thing, now I'm getting all kinds of strange calls........

See if you can get your employer to install a call blocker.

Just got the same call. Said they had charges against me. I also applied for payday loan.

to frustrated....I got the same call from 916-469-6343.  All I could understand is "generosity", "send a police officer to my home place", the last 4 of my social and a callback number. He has an extremely thick East Indian accent. They started calling me at 8:15 this morning and call about every half hour.  I picked up twice and there was nothing on the other end.  Yeah, I'm so scared.  LOL
