Caller ID from (916) 469-6318. Left no message.

Second call from Sacramento number 916-469-6318 in the same day. This time there was a very static-laden voice mail from someone at "Money Mutual" telling me my loan application had been approved up to $10,000. He pronounced "dollars" like some Canadians do. He asked that I call back this same number to gain access to the funds. Seems like a scam to me because I haven't applied with nor am familiar with Money Mutual. So much for the Do Not Call registry today.

I got call from Advance America approved loan of up to $5000

These are advanced fee loan scams.
Anyone who calls you and offers a loan or line of credit for a fee is breaking federal law.
It is illegal for a company in the US to offer loans or credit for an upfront fee by phone:

So, all such calls are 100% scams.

Have you looked in to a loan? If you haven't, your caller was a FRAUD! He was "phishing" for your financial information. If your caller wanted money "up-front", for any reason, he was a FRAUD! Advance fee personal loans are NOT legal in this country. It's all just as simple as that.
