I have received several phone calls from 916-469-8861 from a man with a very thick accent.  When asked what the call was regarding he indicated he couldn't tell me and gave me the name of someone to call named Edward Marshall.  When I called him he put me on hold several times and then requested me to send money to him before 10:00 a.m. when it was already 11:00 a.m. in California.   I never agreed to send any money and thank goodness cause when I got back to my desk I did a search of the number and I ended up finding complaints and that this was a scam.

DO NOT CALL BACK this is a scam I called and they cussed at me.  They claimed they were from the attorney generals office NOT TRUE>

I received a message this morning from the same man with the very thick accent.  He threatened on his message to take me to the courthouse if I did not call him today.  When I called him back I got a message that the "magicjack user cannot take my call and to leave a message"  

This guy called me today over 75 times saying send him money he's so full of B S don't fall for it

This guy with a very thick accent called me the other day.  He said his name is Frank Moral and he's the city attorney.  He requests that I wire him a $1000 or else he was going to send the police after me an arrest me for 14 years.  I asked to meet him and person he said he couldn't and then he hung up.

Got a call saying that there was a complaint against me at the attorney general's office and that I could be arrested if I do not call him back. Thick Indian accent.

I got the same call today and He was very, very rude, hung up in my face twice. He said I had a charge against me for social security fraud and named some kind of bank. I was trying to call someone from the office to talk to them but said the office was closed today, but when I looked up his phone number I think I'm dealing with fraud myself. He gave me the name mark foster.

They said were from the attorney generals office. They had my Social security number. Hung up on me when I said I was going to contact the FBI.

Wow. This is crazy. I received the same call. he needs to be arrested  himself.

I got a call from a Mr. Robin Walker - stating he was from the State Department - I asked him which state department was he referring to and he said "your state".  I've dealt with callers from this number before - he was asking me to give a message to one of our employees.  This is not a legitimate call, nor is this person from our State Department.

I got the same call about my s.s number. something needs to be done about this guy..

Got a call this morning at 7:30 a.m. from a man with with a deep accent claiming that a claim had been filed against my ssn. He stated that I needed to meet him at the courthouse at 8:30 a.m. I asked him what courthouse and he said if I wanted to know what this is about to call a Mr. George Beloski and he hung up. This is total bs!!

This guy is keeps calling cant understand him and saying i tried to request money and they were gonna arrest me a work for 7 years. But when i asked his name again anf then he hung up the phone. They keep calling and its gotten frustrating.

I have received a few calls from this number and it was an indian man that said he is a paralegal and that I had a case against me from a federal loan and that he couldn't give me any more info then that. I told him I knew this was a scam and he said if you think its a scam call George Belaski and he will tell you its not a scam. These people are relentless and pathetic!  Do not fall for their idiotic attempt at scamming you.

Received several calls and voice mail from this number.  Same MO as above; state attorneys office: thick accent, something about fraud and a warrant for my arrest if I didn't do something.  The accent was so strong I could barely understand what he was saying!  
I told him that I did not believe him.  I told him that if it actually WAS the state attorney's office, I am sure that they would put someone on the phone who has an adequate grasp of the English language.  I laughed at him and hung up the phone.  Boy did that make him mad!!!  Lol!  I would love for this guy to get arrested!

I RECEIVED THIS CALL FROM THIS NUMBER 916-469-8861 SEVERAL TIMES TODAY THEY WERE CLAIMING THAT I HAD A LAW SUIT UNDER MY SSN THE GUY HAD A DEEP ACCENT AND WAS VERY DEMANDING

Thick accent  guy called us in the morning from state general office looking for my husband trying to scam us pls dont fall for this hang up your phone!!!!!!

Yes, I have received the same calls from a man who says his name is Jerry Brown.  Says I owe money on a loan I never had.  He also has my social security number, which is scary.  He has called at least 20 times but does not have details on this loan he says I owe money on.

Got a phone call, guy also with in INdian (thick) accent. I was driving so i hanged up. When I tried to call back this number, he introduced himseld as Ronny Cooper from Atty General's Office of the State of California, at 7:00AM? Hello!!!!
