- mfleeThis is for a company called Freedom Debt Relief (sacramento location) that works with clients to resolve (reduce) their current debt. If you are not enrolled in the program they should not be calling you.
- anonymousFDR settles with NYAG for $1.1 million http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news04/2011/03 ... in-refunds.html
- Pissed CreditorPlease note you consumers need to do your research before using Freedom Fin as all they do is miss lead you and your creditor's. they work out settlements with your creditor and charge you for them and never send the money. and will get you in more legal trouble. Then before you ran to them for there services ... DO you home work on them ...
Look at there Rip Off Report and all the BBB complaints... that are unresolved ... - LindaBe VERY careful about returning their calls. If you do, they can get around the National Do Not Call list by claiming YOU made contact with them. I have no dealings with this company, yet they claim they want to talk to me about an account they are "trying to settle on my behalf."

- Happy client| 4 repliesYes this is FDR Freedom Debt Relief and do not hesitate to answer if you have impossible debt. I am nearly finished with their program about 15 months early because they get very good settlements. I could never have negotiated all this on my own. NO MORE CREDIT CARD USE for me. I love FDR.
- BigA replies to Happy clientI just love it when someone searches for the phone number of a company that they have dealt with and then posts glowing wonderful remarks. It is so much fun to shoot those shill remarks down.

BBB page, note that even thought it has a A+ rating it has 181 complaints, and also note that companies pay by the amount of employees, so if this company truly does have 710 employees, then it is a major contributor to the BBB: http://www.bbb.org/greater-san-francisco/busi ... -mateo-ca-65019

Really great company, how much did they charge you to do what you could have done for free? - Bingo replies to Happy client| 2 repliesI have been with company for 20 months,so far they have done what they said would do,a lot of clients will start the program and stop making their payments, and then FDR will stop helping them, then they start complaining.
- Say What! replies to Bingo| 1 replyBingo. My understanding from the good post bad post.get some cheese with ur whine group thats out there. They take ur money stock pile it for a few months then start cutting deals on clients behalf. The client has to pk the settlement ygey get for themThey get so much per dollar they either of what they save you or what you have to pay. The client has to ok the deal or it can't be made. If you need some of your money back you can get it according to the sales pitch they have on their site? It's still your money until you ok the deal. If you decide to get out or opt out as it says they refund your money all but a few dollars a month for filing fees. What they don't tell you is you will get a 1099 form for taxes on your debit paid off from the card company and then they sell the unpaid balance to some scumbags collection agency who hassle the people like mad for the remainder. Yea they do a real good job of selling their client out after they get their share for settling or half @$$ settling the clients debt. They are done with you. Yea they do what they say but they and do alot they don't say they will be doing to you. I can't see as how they are helping you much at all. Just making themselves some money and leaving the client with the same number of debtors just half as deep in debit to them. Ifeel it sounds to good to be true it probably is.
- BigA replies to Say What!Your post is extremely hard to comprehend, but I can tell you this. The issuance of a 1099C precludes anyone from ever trying to collect that amount.
- Joy MThis number scammed my credit card and started charging on it to grocery stores and sporting goods. Fraud.
